Last night (well, at 3:30 this morning) the New York Times, no friend of Trump, was predicting that he would wind up with between 298 and 312 electoral votes.
In other words, at this point there are 51 house races still undecided. Therefore the Republicans need to win just 17 of those races (1 out of every 3) to control the house. I pray they win a lot more than 17.Democrats have 183 in the house and Republicans have 201. We need 218 to win the house. This is great news for Republicans to take control.
I pray for our government every day, today I have thanked Father God over and over for the election outcome, and now we must pray more, pray harder, POTUS and VP need protection, the evil left is scheming , you can count on it just like the sun coming up.God heard yesterday the prayers we lift up today.
They have to fix their reputation for the many business they have lost and so many who won’t go near that city.I'm pleasantly surprised.
Hello! Yes. I think a lot of the mainstream media in the UK are pretty Woke and biased on most everything, the political parties too, however I do meet a lot of ordinary people with different opinions. There are a lot of ordinary British people with youtube channels with 'non-mainstream' opinions. P.S Very happy Kamala Harris didn't win. Presenters on the mainstream channels were heartsick to see Trump winning, which was hilarious. God BlessAnd @Spartan Sprinter, maybe @lismore too!
But @janeelaine if they are both "in it together", then look at the differences between them.
The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour. (that's not just a Dr Phil-ism, it's a basic fundamental rule in psychiatry)
Past behaviour:
Kamala- 4 years as VP, the economy goes from good to tanked, the world engages in war all over, Putin invades Ukraine, China and N Korea threaten their neighbours and Iran attacks Israel starting with their proxy Hamas last fall. Kamala along with Biden threaten ISRAEL not Iran. The border is meaningless and migrants who are coming in from the Middle East, Iran, China and other bad places are found entering the USA and allowed to stay (they lost track of them!) She apparently was for everything Biden did, including the DISASTROUS pull out in Afghanistan (and you wouldn't believe WHERE those weapons are showing up that Biden left behind). She and Biden doubled down on importing immigration from the Middle East and lets just say, those aren't Coptic Christians from Egypt who are showing up at the anti Israel demonstrations.
Trump- 4 years in office. Just about pulls the economy back to normal in spite of that last Covid year, strengthens the border, stops attacks on Israel, stops bad actors in Syria, Russia, Iran and China plus the little dumpling of doom in N Korea all without losing an American life. Makes sure that Jerusalem is the official capitol of Israel, makes sure that the Golan Heights STAY in Israeli hands and thank heavens he did so. It's been quite important in the saving of Israeli lives. Did he make mistakes? Sure, we all do but on the whole his "wins" outpace his losses.
In comparison Biden's gaffes and blunders were on every page every day while the Mainstream Media fought to keep them quiet. The economy tanked, worse than any other time in American history to my understanding and wars broke out all over. Biden reversed Trump's efforts to contain Iran's nuclear program and sent money just like his predecessor Obama did. In between protecting and funding Iran he tried to stop Israel from defending themselves.
There are no perfect choices, only who is better for the job.
This article might also be pertinent to our discussion:
i believe the differences are there to make us think we have a choice. trump comes back to save the day for a little bit, but as always, any positive progress will be dismantled in time. the changes happen slowly- sometimes 1 step forward, just to take 5 steps backward, then forward yet again.
We do have a choice. I'd rather take one step forward followed by 5 steps back then to keep getting shoved backwards without ever a chance to take a step forward.
In 2020 we lost our country to an illegitimate govmint that won via fraud. A lot of people did a lot of work to make the victory we had last night possible, as opposed to it being a repeat of 2020.
We should see a lot of positive things over the next 4 years. None of them will come easily but Trump is made of something that I've never witnessed in another in my life. That man just keeps going. I would say we could continue stepping forward if we keep voting for good people, but given that we appear to be at the very end of this age, what needs to happen, will happen.
Even so, we can rejoice in Jesus and thank him every day for everything that happens to us over the course of the day. He's got us and we're His!
That process is real, but it's part of the progression towards the way the world will be on the eve of the Tribulation.i believe the differences are there to make us think we have a choice. trump comes back to save the day for a little bit, but as always, any positive progress will be dismantled in time. the changes happen slowly- sometimes 1 step forward, just to take 5 steps backward, then forward yet again. like, trump making things better in 2020, only for biden to come in and make things bad again, and now trump is back. abortion was made law of the land for so long, and then it was scaled back, only for pro-abortion orgs to hit back with a vengeance, expanding abortion access in many places where it otherwise would have not had the momentum to do so; it was all so predictable to me. thats what i keep seeing happen over the years. so thats why i feel the way i do. its not what we see on the surface, its the big picture.
my point is the 1 step forward is an illusion.
