Watch Election Results On C-Span

Democrats have 183 in the house and Republicans have 201. We need 218 to win the house. This is great news for Republicans to take control.
In other words, at this point there are 51 house races still undecided. Therefore the Republicans need to win just 17 of those races (1 out of every 3) to control the house. I pray they win a lot more than 17.

***I received this newsletter in my email this morning. Tim Moore from Lamb and Lion Ministries/Christ in Prophecy wrote a response to the election outcome.....

Tim Moore:
Leading up to the election, we did not know definitively who the next President of the United States would be—but God did. God heard yesterday the prayers we lift up today.

What I mean is this: God is not constrained by time, so when we commune with Him and voice the concerns of our hearts, He has already been at work before we utter a word. In the same way, He sees our future with perfect clarity—even though events come at us in succession as we move through the present.

When we read Scripture and see the full outworking of God's plan of salvation in Christ's First Coming, we have the blessing of hindsight. The Old Testament prophets were given glimpses of a glorious future, but otherwise "saw through a glass dimly" (1 Corinthians 13:12). Now, we can look back and recognize God keeps His promises and fulfills His prophecies. He will honor His remaining prophecies and promises as well.

The world will continue to reap the whirlwind of its own rebellion against the Lord. But those who are grounded in Christ eagerly await His upward call. We are looking forward to a city whose architect and builder is God (Hebrews 11:10). While we wait, we remain committed to serving Him in the here and now. Informed by God's prophetic revelations, we know what lies ahead—for the world and for us.

Because Jesus is ours, we have the blessed assurance of our Blessed Hope. And, we have peace that passes understanding.

Let's remind ourselves of that truth and live accordingly in the chaotic days to come.

Godspeed!

Hello! Yes. I think a lot of the mainstream media in the UK are pretty Woke and biased on most everything, the political parties too, however I do meet a lot of ordinary people with different opinions. There are a lot of ordinary British people with youtube channels with 'non-mainstream' opinions. P.S Very happy Kamala Harris didn't win. Presenters on the mainstream channels were heartsick to see Trump winning, which was hilarious. God Bless :)

But @janeelaine if they are both "in it together", then look at the differences between them.

The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour. (that's not just a Dr Phil-ism, it's a basic fundamental rule in psychiatry)

Past behaviour:
Kamala- 4 years as VP, the economy goes from good to tanked, the world engages in war all over, Putin invades Ukraine, China and N Korea threaten their neighbours and Iran attacks Israel starting with their proxy Hamas last fall. Kamala along with Biden threaten ISRAEL not Iran. The border is meaningless and migrants who are coming in from the Middle East, Iran, China and other bad places are found entering the USA and allowed to stay (they lost track of them!) She apparently was for everything Biden did, including the DISASTROUS pull out in Afghanistan (and you wouldn't believe WHERE those weapons are showing up that Biden left behind). She and Biden doubled down on importing immigration from the Middle East and lets just say, those aren't Coptic Christians from Egypt who are showing up at the anti Israel demonstrations.

Trump- 4 years in office. Just about pulls the economy back to normal in spite of that last Covid year, strengthens the border, stops attacks on Israel, stops bad actors in Syria, Russia, Iran and China plus the little dumpling of doom in N Korea all without losing an American life. Makes sure that Jerusalem is the official capitol of Israel, makes sure that the Golan Heights STAY in Israeli hands and thank heavens he did so. It's been quite important in the saving of Israeli lives. Did he make mistakes? Sure, we all do but on the whole his "wins" outpace his losses.

In comparison Biden's gaffes and blunders were on every page every day while the Mainstream Media fought to keep them quiet. The economy tanked, worse than any other time in American history to my understanding and wars broke out all over. Biden reversed Trump's efforts to contain Iran's nuclear program and sent money just like his predecessor Obama did. In between protecting and funding Iran he tried to stop Israel from defending themselves.

There are no perfect choices, only who is better for the job.

Sad to have to say that it looks like California will continue singing the "Blues".
A couple of legislation seats did go red, but Democrats still have majority. I don't think all of the votes have been completely counted but from the reporting from this morning the Democrats are still way in the lead to keep power over California's legislation.
It appears Nancy Pelosi won her 20th congressional seat and Adam Shift keeps his Senate seat ...ughhh

"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan."

i believe the differences are there to make us think we have a choice. trump comes back to save the day for a little bit, but as always, any positive progress will be dismantled in time. the changes happen slowly- sometimes 1 step forward, just to take 5 steps backward, then forward yet again. like, trump making things better in 2020, only for biden to come in and make things bad again, and now trump is back. abortion was made law of the land for so long, and then it was scaled back, only for pro-abortion orgs to hit back with a vengeance, expanding abortion access in many places where it otherwise would have not had the momentum to do so; it was all so predictable to me. thats what i keep seeing happen over the years. so thats why i feel the way i do. its not what we see on the surface, its the big picture.

We do have a choice. I'd rather take one step forward followed by 5 steps back then to keep getting shoved backwards without ever a chance to take a step forward.

In 2020 we lost our country to an illegitimate govmint that won via fraud. A lot of people did a lot of work to make the victory we had last night possible, as opposed to it being a repeat of 2020.

We should see a lot of positive things over the next 4 years. None of them will come easily but Trump is made of something that I've never witnessed in another in my life. That man just keeps going. I would say we could continue stepping forward if we keep voting for good people, but given that we appear to be at the very end of this age, what needs to happen, will happen.

Even so, we can rejoice in Jesus and thank him every day for everything that happens to us over the course of the day. He's got us and we're His!

my point is the 1 step forward is an illusion.

covid was great, right? so was operation warpspeed.

i dont trust any of them. just Jesus! if only we'd all pray for kings to be removed, and for God to be the one big leader in everyone's life, maybe it'd happen, but the Bible doesnt predict that.

That process is real, but it's part of the progression towards the way the world will be on the eve of the Tribulation.

You see God Himself is in charge of who gets in (I'll edit in the scriptures afterwards) and that goes just as much for a Biden/Harris as it does for a Trump.

No matter how good a leader is, they all have their flaws that the enemy exploits, and no matter how bad a leader is, they are still used by God to bring about these key moments in history.

In either case, God's will is done and we move forward in time to the fulfillment of Prophecy.

We are not merely looking at good vs evil but at the way history flows towards God's prophetic fulfillment whether Satan realizes it or not.

At times evil rushes in like a flood, And then

God raises up a standard.

Back and forth

Look back in history to Churchill and WW 2 or even before that to WW1. We see the forces of evil unexpectedly creating the opportunity for Israel to be born as the Balfour declaration, then out of the ashes of the crematoriums and camps of the Nazis come the bony frail survivors of the Holocaust to fulfill Ezekiel's dry bones (it's not fully fulfilled yet, but in progress)

We cannot ever look at things the way they appear on the surface but dig deeper to see God's hand on history.
