Hamas militant group has started a war that ‘Israel will win,’ defense minister says

Gaza tunnels stretch at least 350 miles, far longer than past estimate – report

Senior Israeli defense officials now assess that Hamas’s Gaza tunnel network is between 350 and 450 miles long, far longer than previously believed, according to a Tuesday report.

The estimate reported by The New York Times is markedly higher than an Israel Defense Forces’ assessment last month that there are some 250 miles of Hamas tunnels under the Gaza Strip, and an astounding figure given the enclave is only some 140 square miles in total size.

The newspaper quoted Israeli intelligence officials estimating there are around 100 miles of tunnels under Khan Younis in southern Gaza, where IDF troops are engaged in intensive fighting as they search for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and other terror commanders believed to be hiding underground.

Israel Has Offered a Ceasefire Deal to Hamas

The legions of antisemites and anti-Israel buffoons can rejoice. They got what they’ve been clamoring about for weeks. The campaign of harassment against Jewish bystanders and businesses, the efforts to shut down airports, and the attempts to block traffic to save the bloodthirsty dogs who call themselves Hamas have been successful: Israel has proposed a ceasefire…for two months. It’s better than nothing, right?

The Jewish state has pitched this deal in return for the release of all the remaining hostages. Hamas is being offered a short breather before Israel finishes them all. The world, especially the Jew-hating nations of Europe and the United Nations, gets a pause in the fighting they so desperately wanted for humanitarian reasons, supposedly.

It’s not going to work. Hamas was still firing rockets when the first ‘pause’ was agreed to, and they’re killing hostages now. No doubt it wouldn’t shock me if Hams agrees but continues to attack Israel. These are terrorists that can’t be trusted, and the fact that people view them as legitimate actors akin to other nations in the civilized world remains maddingly annoying.

Twenty-one Israeli Reservists Killed; Highest Single-Day Total Since Start of Invasion

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said early Tuesday local time that twenty-one soldiers had been killed in the central Gaza Strip when Hamas terrorists fired a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) and an anti-tank missile at soldiers in buildings that had contained explosives.

According to Israel’s Army Radio, a reserve unit had approached several buildings in an area near the Israeli border where several buildings had been set for demolition due to the threat they posed to Israel and to soldiers. Hamas terrorists fired two missiles — an anti-tank missile that killed two soldiers, and an RPG that hit a building in which IDF soldiers were working with explosives.

An initial report had suggested that ten soldiers had fallen, but IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari later reported in a briefing that the full number was twenty-one.

Just as well. Israel really needs to see this through.

Hamas losses: Up to 60% of terror forces out of action - analysis

Charting Hamas’s losses over more than 100 days of war with Israel, there are some critical data points:

On the positive side: 48-60% of Hamas’s forces are out of commission – meaning either killed, wounded, or arrested.

The IDF estimates it has killed 9,000 Hamas terrorists, wounded around 8,000 to a degree that they cannot easily return to battle (a much larger number have been wounded at lower levels), and has arrested 2,300.

Hamas is collapsing in its own Gaza tunnels, Gallant tells IDF soldiers

"In the last day and a half, over 100 terrorists have come up, some of them underground, in the Khan Yunis area, and in other places - because they understand that they can't fight against the IDF."

"Unfortunately, this operation has costs, and the unit paid a heavy price," he continued. "On the other hand, the results are clearly seen - Hamas dug tunnels to use them against us with all kinds of methods - but in reality, Hamas is collapsing into its own tunnels that it dug with great effort. Every place they thought would be a trap for IDF soldiers became an area where we defeated them in various ways."

"Hamas has suffered hundreds of casualties underground as a result of your and your friends' operations. And besides, we've only been in the last day and a half, yet we have over 100 terrorists who have come up, some of them underground, in the Khan Yunis area, and in other places - because they understand that they can't fight against the IDF. It's thanks to you and your friends."

Hamas rocket supply dwindles to hundreds amid IDF hunt

In the 110 days since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas, the Israeli security establishment has reported a substantial reduction in the stockpile of rockets held by the terrorist organization.

The current estimate suggests that Hamas now possesses only a few hundred rockets, a significant decline from the approximately 20,000 rockets it had at the start of the conflict, according to Israel Hayom.

During the initial hours of the October 7 attack, Hamas unleashed around 3,000 rockets and mortars into Israeli territory, targeting various ranges. Over the entire duration of the conflict, roughly 9,000 rockets penetrated Israeli territory. This number exceeds the total rockets fired during the 34-day Second Lebanon War and the 51-day Operation Protective Edge.

Protesters are blocking the relief trucks from coming into Gaza per a news article on the Rapture Ready news section. I'm sure that it's snarling the efforts of Hamas from restocking their war machine.

US, Israel believe up to 80% of Hamas tunnels intact after 114 days of war

After 114 days of fighting, as much as 80 percent of Hamas’s tunnel system beneath the Gaza Strip could still remain intact, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.

The Journal report cited Israeli and US officials and noted that it is difficult to assess how much of the subterranean labyrinth has been destroyed by Israeli troops so far, but estimated that 20% to 40% of it has been damaged or rendered unusable.

Some of the tunnels have been bombed, while others have been flooded. However, progress is slow as underground passages must be mapped and checked for booby traps and hostages before Israeli forces can destroy them.

Israel Today on Telegram:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
There is a lot of noise in the media surrounding the efforts to secure the release of more hostages, so I would like to clarify:
We are working to obtain another framework for the release of our hostages, but I emphasize: not at any cost.
I have red lines, among them: we will not end the war, we will not remove the IDF from the Gaza Strip, and we will not release thousands of terrorists.
We are constantly working for the release of our hostages and the achievement of the other war goals: the elimination of Hamas and the promise that Gaza will no longer pose a threat.
We are working on all three together and will not give up on any of them.

Praying for Israel in this. The US State Dept, Qatar and Egypt are attempting to force a hostage deal on Israel according to Caroline Glick here: The New Hostage Deal EXPLAINED & Why It Means Israel's Defeat | The Caroline Glick Show In-Focus

At time stamp 05:13 of the 45 minute video Caroline shows today's statement by John Kirby Spokesperson for the National Security Council (USA) in which he says this:

"The Prime Minister" (of Israel, B. Netanyahu) can speak for himself. We don't need to change directions."

In other words THE ELECTED LEADER of Israel "can speak for himself" - meaning he can't speak for Israel in these negotiations. We (meaning the US, Qatar, Egypt and Hamas) DON'T NEED TO CHANGE directions"

That is appalling. Especially considering the unified mood of Israel against any attempt to force "peace" on Israel and prevent the further capture of the assassins of Oct 7.

Caroline in the first 5 minutes details that Egypt has shared details with Israel that this is a plot to stop Israel's action in Gaza against the aggressors, and the wording that Israel would be able to take up arms and finish the job after the hostages are returned (in 100 terrorists for 1 Israeli or worse) is misleading. The ACTUAL INTENT is to stop Israel permanently, allow Hamas to continue to control Gaza and re arm.

IF ISRAEL AGREES to this, The US State Dept will work with other nations, including the enemies of Israel to stop them from taking up arms again and finishing the job.

When added to the US action of pushing a bunch of US tax dollars to Hamas in the Gaza via UNRWA just before hitting the pause button temporarily, this means the US State Dept is conducting it's own war on Israel. See this article in the Washington Free Beacon for details: GOP Lawmaker Accuses Biden of Pushing Out ‘Tens-of-Millions’ in Taxpayer Funding for UNRWA Just Prior to Aid Suspension

From the article:
"The Biden administration may have funneled "tens-of-millions" in American taxpayer dollars to the United Nations’ Palestinian aid group before announcing a pause in U.S. contributions as a result of the organization’s role in Hamas’s October 7 terror spree in Israel, according to a GOP lawmaker.

The Biden administration announced on Jan. 26 that it is pausing all future U.S. funding for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) following revelations that at least 12 of its employees participated in Hamas’s slaughter of more than 1,200 Jews. But the funding pause may have only been put into effect after millions in taxpayer funds were pushed out the door, according to Rep. Brian Mast (R., Fla.).

"It does appear as though they may have waited to make this announcement until after they allowed for a disbursement of tens of millions of dollars to go out to UNRWA on or before Jan. 24, and if that’s the case it should be considered outrageous," Mast, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said on Tuesday afternoon during a hearing on the U.N. organization’s close relationship with Hamas.

Israeli troops raid main headquarters of Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade

The IDF says troops of the Givati Brigade raided the main headquarters of Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade in the southern Gaza Strip, used by the terror group for training ahead of the October 7 onslaught.

The complex, known as the al-Qadsia outpost, also housed the office of Muhammad Sinwar, a senior Hamas military commander and the brother of the terror group’s leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, according to the IDF.

The IDF says al-Qadsia is the main outpost of Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade, which included a training ground with mock entrances to Israeli communities, IDF bases, and military vehicles, for Hamas to simulate and prepare for the October 7 attacks.

Israel Strikes Senior Hamas Officials in Rafah Before Offensive

Israel launched an airstrike Saturday that eliminated several senior Hamas terrorist officials in the city of Rafah — while the world attempts to dissuade Israel from launching a broader ground offensive in Rafah, the last stronghold of the terrorist organization.

Earlier today, following IDF and ISA intelligence, aircraft struck and eliminated Ahmed Eliakubi, a senior Hamas operative in the area of Rafah. Eliakubi was responsible for the security provisions for senior Hamas leaders and served as a senior commander in the Rafah district. During the strike, Iman Rantisi, a Hamas senior military operative was eliminated, and an additional operative was killed.

The Hamas leaders may have been lulled into a false sense of security due to the public opposition of the U.S. and other countries to an Israeli military operation in Rafah, given the large number of Palestinian civilians who have taken refuge there.

Directly beneath UNRWA’s Gaza headquarters, IDF uncovers top secret Hamas data center

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Beneath the Gaza Strip headquarters of the controversial United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, known commonly as UNRWA, the Hamas terror group hid one of its most significant assets, the Israeli military has revealed.

The subterranean data center — complete with an electrical room, industrial battery power banks and living quarters for Hamas terrorists operating the computer servers — was built precisely under the location where Israel would not consider looking initially, let alone target in an airstrike.

The revelation of the server farm comes amid other accusations of UNRWA collusion with the Gaza-ruling terror group and the entanglement of the UN body that provides welfare and humanitarian services for Palestinian refugees from the 1948 and 1967 wars and their descendants.

UNRWA head says agency was in dark about Hamas center under Gaza HQ; Israel: ‘You knew’

The head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, Philippe Lazzarini, denied Saturday any knowledge of a Hamas data center found by Israeli troops underneath its Gaza headquarters, with the Israeli military and Foreign Minister Israel Katz immediately casting doubt on his claim.

In a tweet shortly after the findings were published by The Times of Israel and other media outlets, Lazzarini said his organization, UNRWA, “did not know what is under its headquarters in Gaza.”

He said that the reports “merit an independent inquiry that is currently not possible to undertake given Gaza is an active war zone.”

He also said Israel has “not informed UNRWA officially about the alleged tunnel.”

Hopefully Israel will suggest to UNRWA that they evacuate their building since it is going to collapse when Israel blows up the "alleged" tunnels with the data center under their building. I say give them a 15 minute warning...
