I think the significance lies in the way it's all lining up towards future prophecies about Gog Magog, and the Tribulation period.
Ezek 38 has Israel without any defender. They are living in peace and security on the mountains of Israel which is significant, without care or thought because when Gog of Magog comes down with it's coalition- Israel isn't ready.
None of the nations muster any type of defence. The only thing that happens is a question "have you come for spoil?" by 2 groups- Tarshish and cubs, as well as an Arabian group Sheba and Dedan. That is not a defence, it is simply asking for clarification of Gog's motives.
Israel won't have any defenders, anywhere. By God's design - as He says in Ezek 38 &39 that this is to bring Israel back into belief in Him (and God also mentions the nations who don't know Him)
So this is lining up for Gog Magog. Tarshish is either Britain or Spain and a passage in Isaiah points it at Britain. Tarshish is a Tin mine area- and those 2 qualify. Spain's New World descendants include Mexico and much of South America. Britain's descendant democracies include Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand who are part of a group known as the 5 Eyes. No matter who you decide fits Tarshish, nobody from there cares about Israel, and any concern they express is related to Russia's desire to take the wealth of Israel.
Sheba and Dedan express the same concern- and that does look like the Abraham Accords group but it might be something different when the time comes. It is interesting that of these 2 national groups we have 2 groups that fit- the Five Eyes and the Abraham Accords.
As for the Tribulation period, this is another time when the nations don't care enough about Israel to defend them- leading Israel to make her agreement with Death and Sheol as Isaiah puts it, or the covenant as Daniel puts it.
This is an ongoing process thru the Tribulation that ends with Zech 12:3 where the nations surround Jerusalem
Why all this is significant is because Israel has had friends at the UN to protect her, most notably the USA. The allies of the USA used to vote with the US, at least a few. Now the allies are moving into a different set of alliances.
More and more Israel is alone.
God is moving them to a place where they will see God move on their behalf (Ezek 38) but they will still persist stubbornly to make alliances with human beings (the Covenant with the AC that sets off the Tribulation Timer). By the end the survivors that believe will cry out to the Lord their Messiah and He will come rescue them and put an end to the Trib.
If we are drawing close to those 2 prophetic events- Ezek 38 and the Trib- we have GOT to see Israel abandoned but living in a state of self sufficiency at least at the time of Gog Magog. They feel threatened enough by what is happening around them at the point they sign with the AC. But both places Israel stands alone.
That is yet future.
Right now Trump supports them. He isn't always stable in his decisions - he is erratic. Sometimes he listens to Witkoff, and thankfully more often to Huckabee. But his term isn't long- and his days depend on God for how long he has to live. There will be a time without Trump. Right now I see the gathering of those who hate Trump and hate Israel within the States. Nothing is forever.
I continue to think that the last of American support for Israel disappears at the Rapture leaving Israel completely alone.
But at that point I also think they might have achieved some measure of peace, that allows them to live in that false sense of security that Ezek 38 describes. It's also interesting that Ezek says they've come back to the "mountains of Israel" a label for what we currently call "the west bank" and that they are living without walls, bars or gates.
Some war they are in, just before all this Ezek 38 stuff starts lets them live in that false sense of security.
