Hamas militant group has started a war that ‘Israel will win,’ defense minister says

Israel has rejected a U.S.-sent hostage deal drafted by Palestinian-American Bashara Bahbah that was coordinated with Hamas. (And RIGHTLY SO. This is a very bad deal.)

The plan only offered 10 hostages to be released in 2 stages (5 now, 5 in 2 months) and a 70-day ceasefire.

Israel called it a “surrender,” rejecting demands for full 1) IDF withdrawal, 2) unrestricted humanitarian aid, and 3) a Hamas-U.S. signing ceremony.

The plan also deviated from the original Witkoff outline, (that Hamas could have agreed to) which calls for more hostages upfront and a shorter ceasefire period.

This is a terrible offer. Israel was right to reject it. Why would the U.S. even think this is a valid offer?

Hamas is nearing its end.

IF there is a deal, it should be to release ALL hostages and surrender.

Remember Trump saying, “All the hostages out by Jan 20th, or there will be HELL to pay” ? That was just Trump theater

Israel needs to finish the job and ultimately destroy Hamas.

The time is NOW.

This rejection by Israel is the recent hostage deal proposed to Hamas by US Envoy Steve Witkoff 👇

Hamas agrees to Gaza ceasefire deal proposal attributed to Witkoff, official says

Hamas has agreed to a Gaza ceasefire proposal it attributed to US special envoy Steve Witkoff for a Gaza ceasefire, a Palestinian official close to the group told Reuters on Monday.

The new proposal, which sees the release of 10 hostages and 70 days of truce, was reportedly received by Hamas through mediators.

“The proposal includes the release of 10 living Israeli hostages held by Hamas in two groups in return for a 70-day ceasefire and a partial withdrawal from the Gaza Strip,” the source said.

The proposal also sees the release of Palestinian prisoners by Israel, including hundreds of those serving lengthy prison terms. The framework agreed upon by Hamas appeared to be distinct from Witkoff’s proposal that Israel had previously approved.

Israel rejects latest proposed hostage-ceasefire deal, senior official says

Responding to a Lebanese report that a new outline for a hostage and ceasefire proposal had been agreed upon in principle by Israel, a senior Israeli official said Monday the deal has been rejected.

“The proposal received by Israel cannot be accepted by any responsible government,” the official told the media, without giving any further details.

“Hamas is setting impossible conditions that mean a complete failure to meet the war goals, and an inability to release the hostages,” he said.
