Hamas militant group has started a war that ‘Israel will win,’ defense minister says

Who will willingly take them? They've developed terrible reputation it seems.
Maybe some poor African country if they're offered some incentive... otherwise probably no country. If Israel invades Lebanon on account of the current activities, I reckon they could force relocate gazans to Lebanon after Israel trounces Lebanon and before Israel withdraws from that country,

Female Israeli Tank Commanders Wipe Out Hamas Terrorists

A group of Israeli women who serve as commanders in the armored corps of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) saved two communities near Gaza during the Hamas attack on October 7 — and their story has finally been told on Israeli television.

Yated was spared the worst of the October 7 carnage, according to local farmer Shai Avraham, thanks in part to a vigilant female tank commander from a nearby base who decided to fire upon a group of Hamas terrorists who were lurking near the community. She killed most of them, and while a few persisted in their attack, others fled back to Gaza and did not return.

Female officers in the IDF typically serve as instructors, or in logistical roles. However, a small but increasing number are being accepted into combat units, including infantry, armored corps, and aviation roles.

Excellent job, well done by these brave soldiers.

Surrender: Blinken Tells Israel It Lacks ‘Credit’ to Defeat Hamas

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Israel that it lacks “credit” to conduct the kind of military campaign necessary to defeat Hamas, saying that the Biden administration would not tolerate large-scale bombing over months in southern Gaza.

Blinken, normally a weak figure in public, issued his tough ultimatums in private, bringing the contradictions in U.S. policy to a head.

It was not clear what Blinken meant by “credit” — whether financial credit from the U.S., or political credibility on the world stage. Israel has been saying for weeks that it expected the fight to destroy Hamas to take months, and perhaps a year.
A shorter fight would require more drastic military measures, at odds with the careful approach Israel has taken in an effort to avoid civilian casualties where possible.

Hopefully Israel will understand that they must completely destroy hamas, and continue in that direction with or without the support of the USA.

Yep no more ceasefires

Israel Penetrates into Southern Gaza, Surprising Hamas

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spent the first 48 hours of renewed fighting by attacking targets throughout Gaza, and fighting deep into southern portions of the Gaza Strip — apparently surprising Hamas, which expected Israel to stay in the north alone.

The U.S. had openly opposed an Israeli invasion of the southern Gaza Strip, saying that Israel had to account for civilians first. Whether Israel defied the U.S, or the U.S. participated in the ruse, Hamas does not appear to have expected the southern push.

Israel also released a map to help civilians avoid fighting, with different areas of the Gaza Strip numbered. The U.S. suggested that the map satisfied its concerns, though the administration has at times offered conflicting signals about Israeli tactics.

Wesley Clark: Israel Can’t Do Much More to Protect Civilians and Still Eliminate Hamas

On Monday’s “CNN News Central,” CNN Military Analyst former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Gen. Wesley Clark (Ret.) stated that there isn’t much more Israel can do to avoid civilian casualties and accomplish the objective of eliminating Hamas and “the blame needs to be placed on Hamas. All they have to do is to surrender, unconditional surrender, it’ll stop immediately. That’s where the blame rests.”

IDF: We Broke Through Hamas Lines; Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar is Underground

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Wednesday evening that it had broken through Hamas lines in both northern and southern Gaza, and that it had surrounded Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, whom it said was hiding in an underground tunnel.

Sinwar is the target of growing frustration among Palestinian civilians, who reportedly blame him for their plight. The fact that Hamas hides in tunnels while exposing civilians to the risks of war, as human shields, is becoming a repeated theme of criticism in Gaza.

I thought this was one of the billionaire hamas guys living a life of luxury in Qatar.

IDF: Large Numbers of Hamas Terrorists Are Surrendering

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Friday that large numbers of Palestinian terrorists were surrendering to Israeli soldiers after battles in Gaza, and that detainees were being interrogated to provide intelligence to the Israeli military.

We are eliminating many terrorists, and increasingly are seeing terrorists who surrender during battle and turn themselves over to our forces. In the last 48 hours, we apprehended more than two hundred suspects, dozens of whom were transferred to the 504 Unit of the Intelligence Corps and to the ISA for investigation in Israel. Amongst the suspects transferred for investigation are Hamas commanders and Nukhba [the unit responsible for the October 7 attack] terrorists. Their investigation assists the continued operations of the forces in the field.

IDF’s Jerusalem Brigade Foils Attempted Tunnel Ambush in Gaza

The Jerusalem Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) foiled an attempted Hamas ambush in Gaza last week, based on intelligence that suggested Hamas terrorists were going to emerge from a tunnel near an IDF encampment.

The Air Force carried out strikes in the area and the ground troops opened fire at the Hamas gunmen who came out of a tunnel, the IDF says. According to the army, amid the gun battle and strikes, an explosive device detonated inside the Hamas tunnel shaft, leading to several secondary blasts.

Defense minister Yoav Gallant said Monday that Hamas’s northern battalions are near collapse, as terrorists surrender en masse to IDF soldiers. Reports suggest that Hamas terrorists in the north have been running out of food.

Thanks to God who has granted the IDF success. I guess we will hear a lot of this sort of thing
amid the gun battle and strikes, an explosive device detonated inside the Hamas tunnel shaft, leading to several secondary blasts.
when the stories about this war get told.

It's what I expect will happen with Damascus- some stray bullet lights up a bomb the enemy meant for the IDF and it takes out the enemy plus their stockpile of weapons.

Senior Hamas official hints at recognition of Israel to end the war

A senior Hamas official told Al-Monitor Monday that the terrorist organization could recognize Israel as a way to end the ongoing war between the two, set off after Hamas invaded Israel on October 7 and massacred 1,200 people, including the elderly and infants.

Mousa Abu Marzouk, the deputy leader of the Hamas political bureau, spoke solely within the context of rejoining the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), which turned into the Palestinian Authority (PA) after the 1995 Oslo Accords.

He told the Washington, D.C.-based Arabic news site, “We seek to be part of the PLO and respect its commitments…. You must follow the official position. The official position is that the Palestine Liberation Organization has recognized the State of Israel.”

Men who have held power and influence and wealth who are about to lose it all including their lives will usually be willing to do anything to stay in power. Mousa is a weak and feckless man.

Just can't trust them at this point.

IDF Announces New Phase of Tunnel Warfare on Hamas’ 36th Birthday

Hamas received a rather nasty 36th birthday present on Thursday when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a video of a deadly attack on Hamas terrorists underground, accomplished through the use of a probe and weapons activated remotely.

(The video cannot be shared by Breitbart News because of its depiction of death and the visibility of corpses, but it is available here.)

The IDF announced Thursday that it would continue to use such devices to kill Hamas terrorists in their formerly safe tunnels, and that it had begun planting explosives within the Hamas tunnel network, which would be monitored and detonated when Hamas terrorists walked by.

Israel: No ‘Political Calendar’ to End War for U.S. Election; ‘Fully Aligned on the Mission’

Israel said Friday that the U.S. was “fully aligned on the mission to destroy Hamas,” despite reports that visiting White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan had pushed Israel to wrap up the most intense fighting in the next few weeks.

The Biden administration’s preferred timeline happens to coincide with the start of the U.S. presidential election. The Iowa caucuses (for Republicans) will be held January 15; the first Democratic primary has been moved to South Carolina February 3.

Israeli government spokesman Eylon Levy told reporters that “the only clock that matters is that every second Hamas exists,” the terror organization is “a ticking time bomb that we must defuse.” He added that the best way to end Hamas — which, he noted, was also an American aim — would be to “stand by us as we push for total victory over Hamas.”
