Question about Trump 'blessing' Israel

I think Trump may have good intentions with a peace plan but if the peace plan is as the original draft of the Abrahamic Accords that includes dividing the Land of Israel, in God's perspective that would be considered a curse that brings judgement.

2 I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land." Joel 3:2

I came accross this past article from him , please let it be so LOL

In that one (written in 2018) he's projecting a possible Second Coming by 2035 because he sees a 10 year gap between the Rapture and the end of the Trib, for reasons he gets into a bit in that article. It's an interesting one, and he doesn't commit to it being a date (in case of those worried about date setting)

He's talking in likely stuff, probabilities, leaving things open for God to have His final say on the matter.

Likelihood and probability are another way of saying that he thinks this is the season of the Lord's return, that he sees the day approaching.

He thinks in probabilities and one of his BEST articles is this one with a table where he lists all the possibilities and then corrals it all into something that ranks by probability. When Will Jesus Christ Return? - A Realistic Date of The Second Coming, by Don Koenig written in 2007 updated in April of 2024.

I think his evangelical inner circle would be warning him deluxe about dividing Israel's land.

I wonder whether Jack hibbs will have dealings again with Trump ?

The term Peace and Security has been used more often in recent years than ever before.
I do believe that the verse this applies to and continues with
Then sudden destruction will come upon them, is referencing to the time of the Tribulation period.
Yeah , it grows tiresome that everytime a world leader or UN person mentions that phrase immediately someone will say OMG guys the rapture is gonna happen any moment now

but but the statement peace and security is gonna trigger it .......................................
Not quite. The passage says when they shall say peace and security, then sudden destruction is using it as a contrast - it is a condition of the times just before the Rapture but it doesn't actually trigger it. That trigger is related to a number that God knows as in Rom 11.

The unwary unsaved who are saying peace and security, versus the Christians who are of the light and know the time approaching.

The unwary are caught, because just like the homeowner doesn't expect a thief in the night, so too are the unsaved.

1 Thess 5:1-4

1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

I agree 💯

That's a really interesting point, because God also causes kings to listen to prophets and not hear them. I'm thinking of a passage with Hezekiah and one of the evil kings in the northern kingdom going to battle together. One of the true prophets finally says what God will do, and yet the kings both go out to battle and it doesn't end well.

Made me think of the Olivet Discourse when Jesus used the illustration of the days of Noah, they were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage and when the flood came they took no note and were swept away.
Peace and Safety, people will be going about their business believing all is good and the sudden destruction will come and they will not be expecting it, because they weren't watching the signs like we do

That is exactly that type of situation. when Jesus used the illustration of Noah and Lot, it was the contrast between an every day life in Sodom, a normal day before the Flood and then sudden destruction overtakes them in their normal little lives. Nothing is ever the same again, and those caught in the Trib are like those caught before the Flood and in Sodom.

Interesting point about Lot, i think Andy Woods said that even with what was going on Lot was still hesitating to leave and that he had to be forced by the Angels to be taken out of the city

Absolutely right. They had to grab him, his wife and the 2 daughters. Lot spent all night trying to persuade his future son in laws to come with and they just laughed. It was so silly to hear the old man talk that way. They were young and strong and "knew" it all.

Israel is the key. It's Israel and specifically Jerusalem that the Lord will be physically returning to after the Tribulation (Acts 1, Zechariah 14). So anything anyone does to build Israel and Jerusalem brings the rapture one step nearer, IMHO, because the rapture must happen first. God Bless All :)
