I believe that Donald Trump is the Antichrist and feel the need to share my concerns.
President Trump has corrupted the Christian values of pastors, politicians and ordinary citizens and he has caused the neediest among us to suffer. Internationally, he has aligned himself with the world's most cruel leaders.
It is clear to me that President Trump is not a true believer. He did thank God for the prophetic survival of an attempt on his life. However, he never attends church, he refused to quote a favorite Bible passage when asked to do so, and he has recently filled his Oval Office golden idols. Most important, would he lie so easily, give such hateful speeches, and make vindictive promises of retribution if he ever asked "What Would Jesus Do?"
Salvation is not based on our works. Jesus' atoning death and resurrection are enough. It's not Jesus plus anything. To even think we can do anything to help get our Salvation is presumptuous and prideful, and takes some of the glory away from Christ.
Salvation is a gift from God and is bestowed in mercy and grace, even though we do not deserve it. Free to us, but oh, so costly to God.
Salvation is in accordance with the Scriptures (Holy Bible), by faith in Jesus Christ alone, by the grace of God, to the glory of God alone.
Regardless of what President Trump does or doesn't do, unless he commits the unpardonable sin, if he's saved, he's saved, regardless of his deeds.
Whether or not President Trump is saved is between him and God, but based on what he's said, I do think he is.
President Trump doesn't need to go to church to prove he's a Christian. Security for the President attending church would tend to disrupt everyone's worship and the sanctity of the Sanctuary, and be a major inconvenience to everyone else in the congregation, plus the Pastor, staff, volunteers, etc. He might not go out of respect for other people.
He also doesn't have to quote a favorite verse to humor someone. He may not have a favorite verse. Or maybe his favorite verse is personal and it might reveal something private about him or a family member that should remain private. What if it's something from the Song of Solomon that's personal, private, and special between him and his wife? That's no one else's business.
As far as gold idols, so what if he's decorated with a bunch of expensive gold trinkets. No different than someone decorating with inexpensive, drab items. President Trump likes to project an image of wealth, success, and power, and his tastes in publicly-viewable decor reflect that. It's very important that the President project whatever image he (or she) thinks is best to get the job done. I don't think what President Trump has put in the Oval Office qualifies as idols in the sense of the deities the Hindus and other pagans worship, and I seriously doubt President Trump thinks of any of it as living or capable of fulfilling requests, etc.
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:1-9, KJV
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Romans 3:19-28, KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:16-18, KJV
I hear President Trump described as an imperfect messiah. Being the Antichrist seems more believable. If you seek a seat in heaven then you may have to make a choice. Support him and risk losing it, or play it safe like me and keep your distance.
The Scriptures are very clear that we should respect and obey our leaders, and give what belongs to God to God, and what belongs to the government to the government, and that we are to pray for our leaders.
15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
Matthew 22:15-22, KJV
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
Romans 13:1-7, KJV
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Hebrews 13:17, KJV
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1 Timothy 2:1-3, KJV
