U.S. Begins Construction on Temporary Pier to Deliver Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Wouldn't we like to find out what contractors built this failure?

Another unmistakable sign that war has become a big money maker for some.
Wonder if this is a occurrence of one of many Zechariah 12 type occurrences as well ?

OP article says military personnel were building it.
Having seen how excellent military bridge, pier etc. construction and operations are, I'm very inclined to believe The Hand of God, either directly, or directing and using natural forces and phenomena in the area.

PA: We're willing to operate the Rafah crossing

"The Palestinian Authority (PA) is expressing its willingness to take part in running the Rafah crossing on the border of the Gaza Strip with Egypt with the participation of international observers.
PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ office said in a statement published on Wednesday that this position was taken in response to the green light given by the European Union's foreign ministers to send observers to the Rafah crossing, in accordance with the Agreement on Movement and Access which was signed in 2005.
The agreement in question was signed between Israel and the PA in November 2005, several months after the withdrawal of the IDF from the Gaza Strip."

The Americans have halted operations at the humanitarian pier in Gaza due to weather-related damage.
This thing cost US taxpayers $320 million. It operated for only 12 days, and none of the aid delivered actually reached civilians in Gaza.
What a waste.

Yes, it's said that the US military was handling it, but Carolyn Glick explained that Qatar was in charge behind the scenes:

This explains a lot and shows how deeply the diben/obama administration is in cahoots with radical islam.

The Price Tag on Biden's Gaza Terror Pier Just Got Higher

President Joe Biden's pier for terrorists in the Gaza Strip is back up and running after breaking apart, drifting north to Israel, sinking and getting stuck on the beach. Biden announced the "humanitarian" pier during his State of the Union address in February.

"At approximately 2:15 p.m. (local Gaza time) on June 7, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully reestablished the temporary pier in Gaza, enabling the continued delivery of much-needed humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. In coming days, CENTCOM will facilitate the movement of vital food and other emergency supplies, in support of the U.S. Agency for International Development," CENTCOM released in a statement Friday.

Two weeks ago the Pentagon admitted all of the aid from the pier had been stolen by Hamas terrorists, ultimately prolonging the war.

Now, we're learning the pet project for terrorism is costing American taxpayers significantly more money. The original construction was $400 million.

Whatever it takes to buy the islamic vote, eh, diben?

Here, let me fix that for you:

RIP to Biden's Gaza Pier As He Chalks Up Another Foreign Policy Disaster

Joe Biden has logged yet another foreign policy disaster under his belt after the Pentagon announced the "Gaza pier" will be dismantled due to damage.

Some press reports describe the move as "temporary," though it's questionable whether the project will ever resume after being completely torn down and towed away. This marks the latest in a string of logistical issues involving the president's prized pier.

For context, the pier has been in place for less than a month, and it's already suffered multiple shutdowns related to moderate seas overtaking it. Here's the full timeline illustrating just how absurd this idea was.......

Yet, people are hungry and homeless

How many meals, blankets, and pairs of socks could that money have purchased and distributed

I wouldn't want our tax money going to entitlement programs either. That's a business that I believe doesn't belong in the hands of our govmint. Better to not have spent it at all since we're now paying interest on it and probably will be for as long as the USA remains a country.
