There's only one answer to all of this: Hamas must be entirely, completely, thoroughly destroyed ... down to the very last individual. Nothing else will suffice. Nothing else will solve the problem. Nothing else will bring some semblance of peace to this region. (At least not until Jesus Christ returns and plants His feet on the Mount of Olives ... which will bring permanent peace.)

If you’re keeping track, Biden announced that America was going to spend two months building a floating pier to deliver aid to Gaza at a cost of $300 million that would be operated by the US military.

Then the pier came under attack by terrorists, was withdrawn to the Israeli port of Ashdod for repairs while the Biden administration conducted backchannel talks with Hamas urging it not to attack the pier, then redeployed for aid deliveries. And it’s been a smashing success. For Hamas.

But any simple fool knows exactly how the terrorists steel food and resell it, rather than giving it to the people who are starving. It's the way it's always been, and it's the way it's continuing. So what kind of fool actually sends aid in the way America is trying? Never mind. I know the answer.

Paradoxically, it is the Israelis who are damned by everybody for being inhumane who are actually providing humanitarian aid to the Gazans. This world is upside down and getting worse.

Heavy seas tore four U.S. Army vessels from their moorings Saturday while they were trying to assist humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza.

Two vessels are beached along Israel’s coast near Ashkelon while the other two are anchored on the beach near the temporary pier built and put in place by the U.S. military, U.S.Central Command announced.

In my experience, military bridge, pier, etc. construction and operations have been excellent.

I wonder if aid exceeded capacity of the pier.
The currents and sea floor in that area are "interesting"

I feel bad for the military servicemembers, who worked hard and honestly to get their mission done, and now this

I hope the investigating officer sees fit to blame the lowest paid guy on the project, and everyone chips in on the Statement of Charges, so no military servicemember's out much. Unless, of course, there's actually someone(s), who was criminally or willfully derelict, no matter how high up the chain.

More like 1/3 of a billion . I think the stated bill was 320 million. That seems super high for a floating pier... 30 million probably should have been plenty.
