Titanic Submarine Disaster

16 days ago, Richard Stockton Rush entered eternity.

I do not personally know if he trusted in the Lord or not, but either way, I imagine his first moments in the afterlife were probably not very pleasant, to say the least.
That thought always gets me. I think about it a lot; larger-than-life types having it all end, just like George under the bridge, who rarely has two thoughts about him at any given moment. Equalized in an earthly regard and then the forever factor finally revealed to formerly "powerful" humans. It's startling.

I wonder why a billionaire would trust his/her life to a rickety sub like that to see the titanic, when they could afford to have a depth worthy vessel made that would be much safer.
From what I understand, there aren't a lot of small submersibles for sale out there, so you most likely have to build your own. That said: I recall reading elsewhere that OceanGate had financial issues and was trying to cut corners.

Let me see if I can find the article I saw that in...

The article above about Lockridge linked to another article talking about how Rush offered the pilot job to his finance director- who had no experience at all! This guy was so arrogant. I feel very sorry for the victims but especially the 19 year old who didn’t want to go.

I was gonna watch the video, but I'm banned from Twitter for agreeing with someone that the FBI director should be tried for treason.
I stay logged out and only look at it as a visitor. I only signed up when they reinstated Trump. Recently I logged in 2-3 times looking for news about the Titan sub and that’s it.

I really don’t care for their format. Twits manipulating news one sentence or paragraph at a time.

Yes he offered the pilot job to his accountant after he fired his pilot and engineer that pointed out his unsafe design flaws.

His accountant, a female, had zero experience with engineering or submersibles lost confidence in Rush after firing his lead engineer / pilot. She wisely resigned after he fired the engineer and offered her the job.

There were dozens of Red Flags with this company and it’s submersibles and yet people still boarded the vessel?

When I tried after they banned me to do just what you're saying, I couldn't get to the site... which is okay I guess. I was starting to like it because you can find out what's happening in the world via the tweets. I use VPN most of the time, so am not sure how they're blocking me. Maybe I'm still logged in... if I can log out maybe I can access it as a guest.
