A deep water submersible that takes tourists to see the Titanic wreck is missing with crew aboard.
I suspect the usual methods: kickbacks, bribes, backroom promises and dealings, etc.There are two outstanding lawsuits against the now dead CEO, from a former employee and two Florida customers who paid $500,000 for a trip that was canceled.
When the lawyers get through with the CEO’s estate there won’t be a dime left. Personally I believe by the con job he pulled on these people his estate should be 100% liable.
He lied about Washington State University, Boeing, and NASA being involved in the design and build of Titan, which is fraudulent. This guy circumvented the deep submersible regulating agencies.
I’d personally like to know why NOAA and or the US Coast Guard did not shut him down prior to this disaster?
There should be congressional level hearings over this. The Titanic site should be shutdown at least for tourism. Unless these travel agents can produce certified deep diving submersibles, with redundant safety systems.
