The Blasphemous Hoax That Deceives Catholics

In The Faith of Millions, a book certified by the Catholic Church to be “free of doctrinal errors”, Catholic priest John O’Brien explains how the Eucharist becomes Jesus during the Mass: “When the priest pronounces the words of consecration, he reaches up into the heavens, brings Christ down from His throne, and places Him upon our altar to be offered up again as the Victim for the sins of man. It is a power greater than that of saints and angels. The priest speaks and lo! Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God, bows His head in humble obedience to the priest’s command.”

Seems like priests actually believe that... it's sad. During the charismatic movement in the catholic church when a great many catholics found Christ, there were some priests who wholeheartedly supported and participated in the movement, but continued to say mass... I wonder if any of them, even one, had their eyes opened to the truth about that.

I was raised Catholic and never heard that one.
It is an interpretation (not without reason and imo not unfairly) of the epiclesis of the RCC Eucharist. If you like, you can read the following detailed description from the Catholic Leader publication and judge for yourself whether it is a recrucifixion of Jesus: https://catholicleader.com.au/features/question-time-analysis/qa-what-is-an-epiclesis/

My cousin was a lapsed Catholic, then attended a Bible study and came back to God, she prays in Jesus’ name and affirms to me that Jesus is her Savior but still insists on attending Catholic mass. She found the church she visited not reverent enough. I’m just praying that she’s not putting her faith in that Eucharist to save her but in Jesus directly. I am pretty sure she just feels close to Jesus through that routine.

That describes my friend Barb (we've known each other for over 40 years) perfectly.

Fortunately, one's salvation doesn't depend on what church one chooses to attend; it depends exclusively on what means of salvation you choose to trust.
Amen. God is so merciful. His grace extends to all who put their faith in Christ Jesus. I remember when those Coptic Christian men got beheaded on that beach. The last words out of their mouths were “O Lord Jesus!” Yet some gnat-strainers were saying those BROTHERS AND MARTYRS went to hell because of the error in their denomination. 😡 Still makes me livid to think about that!!!!
