A New Jersey congressman claimed Wednesday that the mystery drones over the Garden State are from Iran, and they’re being launched by a mothership parked off the East Coast.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew, a Republican, said the drones “very possibly could be” from Iran, citing confidential sources during an appearance on Fox News Wednesday morning.

“I’m going to tell you the real deal. Iran launched a mothership that contains these drones,” Van Drew said. “It’s off the East Coast of the United States of America. They’ve launched drones.”

I live in South Jersey and I haven't seen any yet, however I haven't been outside a lot at night to look for them. Some of the reported encounters have happened less than 20 minutes from my house.

I can say this, in one breath the authorities are saying that there is no threat and no danger to the public and yet they also say they don't know where they are coming from, what they are doing, and who's operating them. Those two statements do not make sense. Either they know who is behind this and there is no danger or they don't know and can't say if there is a threat. Obviously someone is lying.

I think this is very disturbing for a number of reasons. First of all we had Iran posting a video threatening to kill Trump using drones. Second Iran has been given some of the most highly advanced drone technology by China who is an enemy of the United States as well. Third we have a government in office that is doing all it can to sabotage the incoming president and his administration. They have tried to tie the new president up in the past with legal processes: impeachment, felony charges, and convictions. They have failed. There are suspicions that some in the administration --or behind the administration-- were involved in attempts to assassinate Trump. I heard a security expert today say that the Deep State will do anything to keep Trump from coming into office, even if it means destroying the country in the process. I do not think we should take these things lightly. I do not think we should just laugh and treat these drones as though they're something funny or inconsequential. Maybe there's a reason why we do not see America referred to in the Bible end times. I have always found this omission fascinating because we know America has the potential to lead the world. No other country is as powerful. I know we say the absence is because America will be essentially destroyed in its functioning when the Rapture takes place. Maybe. But there are other scenarios too. And these drones that are now being seen over key military bases from California to New Jersey may be part of one of the very possible scenarios.

Given the possibly malevolent actions of the current administration and their oft-stated goal of preventing President Trump from carrying out his plans, and given the fact that we cannot trust anyone in the government or media to tell us the truth, we have only one source of help-- the Lord God Almighty! He who is our God, our Savior, our Protector, and our heavenly Father knows all, and He is available to help when we cry out to him. I'm asking all of us to seriously and faithfully cry out to the Lord God to protect this nation and its incoming leader from any evil plans that have been formed against it.

Almighty God, King of the universe, we come to You in faith, by faith in what your son Jesus has done for us, confidently approaching You and asking You for mercy for our nation. Please Father do not allow any of the plans of the wicked come to fruition. Every evil scheme that they have concocted, may it come to naught. May every pit that they have dug become a snare for themselves. May every trap that they have set trap them. We ask that Your Righteousness would triumph and that Evil would be defeated for the season. We know that one day this age of grace will end and this world will devolve into a time of evil and darkness that it has never before seen. But until then, may Your light shine through us, the Church, and may Your power be seen by the defeat of the enemies of all that is right and good. But witnesses have taken video footage of those aircraft and identify them as "SUV sized drones".

There's just a lot of smoke and mirrors with media lately. I get suspicious when the magician aims my attention in one area and I start looking all around to see what he's hiding.

Maybe it's a UFO convention coming to visit (we REALLY need a "YOU'RE NOT WELCOME" mat for those),

- or a secret govt project (seems a little too open for a secret though)

- or maybe it's a training exercise, pushed out just when the attention was getting too focused on you name it; Syria, Ukraine, Lebanon, the economy, or Biden's last moments of power before he totters off the world stage and Obama is forced to use other operatives in the bureaucracy.

I tend to think they're cooking up something unpleasant for Trump to deal with as he takes office.

Mayorkas says government doesn't have authority to shoot down drones​

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Friday said the government doesn't have the authority to shoot down drones and believes reports of some sightings are cases of mistaken identity.

Mayorkas appeared on CNN when he was asked about why the federal government doesn't take down one of the many drones that have been spotted across multiple states in recent weeks.

“Our authorities are very limited,” Mayorkas told CNN host Wolf Blitzer, citing missions involving unmanned aircraft conducted by various federal agencies. "We have various authorities that are discreet to their particular missions. We can't just shoot a drone out of the sky."

Mayorkas said officials believe reported drone sightings are “cases of mistaken identity” where drones are actually small aircraft “where people are misidentifying them," noting that some can be purchased at "convenience stores."

“We know of no threat or nefarious activity,” he said.
