@Ronnie, I did not speak against the KJV. I own a copy. Placing it on a pedestal above all other versions is where I was disappointed in the street preacher. That is not speaking against the KJV. The KJV is fine. KJV only-ism is misguided.

I have many different versions of the Bible. I have a favorite version for daily reading. It would be wrong of me if I considered that one to be the only English translation worth reading.

I understand, member, and I endeavor to keep the peace even though passions run rampant in the topic of Bible versions.

I am sad. Not that FBC Palo Alto has closed...because apostate assemblies need to disappear. But I am sad that yet another assembly has bowed to progressivism, gone apostate, and thus blown out its light of the gospel. The world needs the gospel light and so-called churches like this that extinguish their light are doing great harm to the people around them who are needing that Light.
