I don't see many people being deceived into thinking a Jesus "chatbox" or online Jesus forum is the second coming. Just the attempt is another good reason to always verify and discern information.

I dont think its so much that people may see an AI Jesus related to his second coming, but no doubt some may be inclined to deceive themselves and believe its really Jesus.
There are many reports of people abandoning relationships with real humans for AI relationships that to them are real.
I can see the same happening with people looking for something spiritual in AI and believing they have found something good in an AI Jesus when they find That "Jesus" as being what they are looking for spiritually.
I think it also fits along the lines with scripture saying people would seek out teachers for themselves with itching ears, turning away from truth and only hearing what they want to hear.
AI is seen as a teaching tool for many and likely a spiritual source for some.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."
2 Timothy 4:3-4

This is just me, but I think the way AI is being used to draw people to fill a spiritual void some feel and find it as what they are looking for, AI is grooming them for the "image of the Beast" as we read in Revelation 13. In verse 15 speaking of the false prophet being "given power by the dragon (satan), to give breath to the image of the beast"

15 "He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed"

This would make the image of the beast appear to have life in it.
This deception will lead people to worship it and take the mark of the beast.

I can see what AI can already do in making it appear as though people can interact with a deceased loved one, and form virtual/human relationships, and actual marriages taking place between people and AI generated partners.
This can very well lead to the deception of people believing the image of the beast being a real "god", and worshipping it.

Looking back 20 years I would have never thought AI would not only be developed and common in every day activity for most people, but for it to become so realistic that most would not be able to tell the difference between virtual reality and the real thing.
Deception indeed.

The dumbing down of the population, at least in the USA, has prepared the younger generations to accept what comes.
