Israel is finally on the offensive the way they should have been a year ago. Israel kept letting the USA tie her hands behind her back and they're finally doing what needs to be done. I think the leadership of Iran would have personal death wishes if they were to repeat the barrage they let loose against Israel not all that long ago. Israel has one of the most effective, powerful and capable military forces in the world... Iran is no real threat without nukes.

Israeli Forces Have Invaded Lebanon​

We have reports that Israeli forces have invaded Lebanon. It was a military operation many observers foresaw even in the immediate stages of the ground war in Gaza after the October 7 attacks. The rocket attacks from Hezbollah have led to an internal displacement crisis within Israel.

The goal is to ensure Hezbollah no longer can continue its daily missile strikes on northern Israel, which have caused tens of thousands to evacuate the area since Oct. 8.

The ground operation follows intelligence raids by special operations troops that have been carried out over several months, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) reportedly pulled back from Lebanon’s border with Israel, as Israel began shelling Hezbollah positions ahead of a ground assault on Monday night.

As Breitbart News reported, citing other media reports, Israel had informed the U.S. of its plans for a “limited” ground operation in Lebanon to remove Hezbollah outposts.

Reports circulated Monday that the LAF and UNIFIL had withdrawn. The Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported that the LAF had begun repositioning its forces in response to information about Israeli troop movements from the U.S.

IDF raids foiled Hezbollah plot for an Oct 7th-style invasion of Israel
The Israel Defense Forces revealed on Tuesday that it had carried out dozens of secret ground operations into Southern Lebanon over the past year to reduce Hezbollah’s war-making capability, destroying the terror group’s tunnels and hidden weapons caches.

The raids were part of an effort to prepare for the larger ground operation, which got underway this morning. The goal was to cripple Hezbollah’s ability to invade Israel.

IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari told press that IDF forces discovered more details of Hezbollah’s plan to invade northern Israel, which was to be spearheaded by the group’s Radwan Force.
Israel killed Ibrahim Aqil, the head of the terror group’s special operations unit, on Sept. 20.

Holding up a map, Hagari said: “We found this map inside one of the compounds that our fighters raided. It is a map that Hezbollah planned to give to its terrorists during a broad infiltration into the territory of the State of Israel as part of the ‘Plan to occupy the Galilee.’ “
