Israel's War with Hezbollah

Lebanon blocks Iranian plane from entering airspace after Israeli threats, ministry source says

Lebanon's transport ministry told an Iranian aircraft not to enter its airspace after Israel warned air traffic control at Beirut airport that it would use "force" if the plane landed, a source at the ministry told Reuters.

The source said it was not clear what was on the plane. "The priority is people's lives," the source added.

Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, is not just another leader of a terrorist organisation and his elimination is not comparable to the killing of a high-ranking member of the military arm of Hamas or Hezbollah. His death is a huge earthquake in the Middle East and in the entire terror world, the extent of which is difficult to assess at present.

For Hezbollah, it is an unprecedented loss, as the organisation's most important figure since its foundation would be gone. It would also be an unprecedented loss for Iran, as the most important agent outside Iranian borders would no longer exist. It is also a major blow for all terrorist organisations, which saw in Nasrallah the man who managed to defeat Israel and degrade it to a ‘spider's web’ - until yesterday.

We will see in the next few days whether a multi-front war will break out as a result.

The officer in the command centre who gave the final approval.
The fighter planes waited in the sky. New details on the elimination of Nasrallah.

The leader, a colonel in the military intelligence and Lebanon division, gathered all the information that led to the successful killing of the Hezbollah secretary general and gave the final order to the armed fighter jets. Yesterday afternoon, the ‘golden information’ was received about Nasrallah's participation in a meeting in Dahieh. Three hours before the attack, Netanyahu, Galant and Halevi held a three-way meeting and gave final approval for Operation New Order.

The specific authorisation came yesterday, and Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed the attack before his speech at the UN General Assembly in New York, shortly before 17:00.

The commander of Squadron 69 explained: ‘We knew we had to be very precise, a once-in-a-lifetime operation.’

Thanks to precise intelligence planning, Air Force Intelligence knew the exact location of the building and the underground part of the structure. The challenge was to deliver a large quantity of munitions - 83 tonnes - to a very precise target and to know exactly where each bomb would hit.

Each individual bomb falls in a very short period of time so that the impact is as simultaneous as possible. The entire process takes 10 seconds. Within 10 seconds, 83 tonnes of ammunition fall on the building.

New Order? Why call it New Order?
That gives me a creepy feeling.

Excellent and well coordinated attack thanks to highly sensitive intelligence gathering sources.

Nobody in any leadership position within Hezbollah should feel any sense of personal security.

Maybe it was "what" instead of "who" was on the plane.
I don't think Hezbollah would hesitate to use a dirty bomb or even a small nuke if they thought it would obliterate Israel

Israel previously warned Lebanon that they would attack the airport if an Iranian plane were allowed to land there and in this case temporarily took over tower communications and warned them again about letting the plane land.

Israel is finally on the offensive the way they should have been a year ago. Israel kept letting the USA tie her hands behind her back and they're finally doing what needs to be done. I think the leadership of Iran would have personal death wishes if they were to repeat the barrage they let loose against Israel not all that long ago. Israel has one of the most effective, powerful and capable military forces in the world... Iran is no real threat without nukes.

Having God in front doesn't hurt, either :)

** I haven't seen confirmation on media but if this is true, this may be a game changer that may just lead to the destruction of Damascus.

💥 BOOM 💥

Arab media reports that contact with Maher Assad, the brother of Syrian President Bashar, has been lost.
According to the same reports, he was in a building that was attacked by Israel earlier in the Yaafur area near Damascus.

Assad was the enabler of Hezbollah in Syria!

With all that has been happening in Lebanon Asad has been pretty silent. If his brother has been killed by an IDF strike this may strike a nerve on Asad.
