Is the RAPTURE Really Next Month? The Bible’s Timeline Is Shocking

I had another thought along the 'no one knows the day' line. If the Feast of Trumpets is the correct time, then the rapture would, it seems, have to occur on the first day of the feast because, since it is a two day feast, once the first day ended, everyone would know the day. It would have to be the second day. Maybe that's too simplistic. I need a nap.
While your logic is flawless, your point is not. The guy on the video like me just stated what he believes but is not stating it as an absolute fact. So even if the Rapture does not happen on the first day, he nor I am sure it will happen on the second day. He is not claiming to be a Prophet.

Again, it is just what we believe.
😀

He just found some really interesting numerical coincidences and timelines. Even if he is ultimately wrong on the R date, the facts are fascinating. I've always been amazed at how math and numbers work out so perfectly-- convincingly created by a loving God. Not possibly coming from some random event.

1 Thessalonians 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1 Thessalonians 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1 Thessalonians 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
1 Thessalonians 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 Thessalonians 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Look at the verses in bold above.

1) We are not in darkness that that day should overtake us.
Meaning that we will not be surprised when the Rapture happens. 👍

2) We should not sleep but should watch.
What are we watching for, if we wont have any idea regarding when the Rapture will happen? :noidea:

3) We should comfort and edify each other.
How can we comfort and edify each other if we don't believe the Rapture is in our lifetime? :noidea:

What we are doing in this thread is what Paul instructs us Christian to do, which is watching, comforting and edifying. Not at all calling out anyone on this thread, but some people just want to be a kill joy. ☹️

:bible: Titus 2: 13-15.

The doctrine of imminency only means nothing prophetic has to happen before the rapture.
Speaking of the imminency of the Rapture brings up a point I would like to make. I have a Christian friend who believes he is an expert on Prophecy. While I would not call him an expert, I must admit he is very good. However he does not believe in the imminency of the Rapture and over the years would tell me that the Rapture could not happen yet as things are not in place that need to be. I mean things like the right countries lining up or the infrastructure required for the Antichrist to rule.

My come back to him would always be that GOD IS ALL POWERFUL and can make anything needed to come to pass just as quickly as he would like. He had no come back to that. I would submit the same point to anyone else that says what is not ready yet. Like there is not peace and safety yet and won't be for a while. God could cause peace and safety tomorrow if he so desired.

By the way, this friend that thinks he is a Prophecy expert currently does believe that all is ready for the Rapture to happen at any time now. 👍

Here Randy Nettles along the theme of speculation comes up with some possible tirbulation dates etc based on Daniel calculations.

To save trouble, his possible scenario dates are towards the bottom of his article and reasoning for those time periods

This has been a very interesting thread with lots to chew on.

What I wont do is convince myself that next month is it. If it is, GREAT. If we’re still here past 23 Sep, it wont change my current life one bit. There is still much work to be done!
Amen Andy. I'm leaning on it not being the case, because "I" just think its too dang early ya'll..lol. Which of course just might be a pretty good indicator it might be the month. :p

But yeah I agree with this being an awesome thread. And my hats off, once again, to @Goodboy...who constantly was a beautiful well of refreshing water along the way at JDF. He had some really awesome posts then/and/now :) Amen.

I would just say though that if 9-23 is it AND we won't be taken by surprise...we will have some pretty radical indicators approaching that date. Does not have to be the case. But I would think most likely to accompany it if so. Because it does seem like the words in the bible tend to radiate poetic waves of fresh perspective in Him. Alive in our day and in our hearts. Amen.

You literally had me laughing out qloud. A nap well deserved :) And it's funny because it would kind of have to be true. lol

Unless its is said "for the person to know" and not said for the person to know they can't know. :) In other words, maybe it will be day 2 for that reason?

Seems like many hang their hat on any agreement that comes along as potentially being "the agreement/covenant". I just can't do that. When the covenant is made, it'll be done.
Amen brother. But even though I would almost seem the UN as a side show, I would not rule its import out entirely. Perhaps not as THAT covenant. But like a belwhether church bell (if you will) for the greater season highlighted by it. In other words, maybe it is not the covenant but rocks around its timing crying out kind of thing? Blessings.
