How The Rejection Of Bible Prophecy Paved The Way For Paula White’s Disturbing Rise To Power

By Jonathan Brentner for
Harbinger's Daily

The prevailing assessment of Bible prophecy in many churches today is that it’s of too little significance to teach from the pulpit. Pastors avoid preaching about the Rapture and Jesus’ thousand-year rule lest it offend people and they stop attending. Some claim that beliefs about things to come are “tertiary,” which online dictionaries define as “of third rank importance or value.”

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The dearth of sound biblical teaching on Bible prophecy has created a void that false teachers have filled with a wide assortment of wayward beliefs regarding the church, Jesus’ appearing, the Second Coming, and Israel. As a result, the prevailing false view in the Christian community is that the church will someday prevail over the ills and evils of our world and inaugurate millennial conditions throughout the world before Jesus returns to the earth.

Lest anyone think that such teaching, known as Dominion Theology, is of little or no consequence for our day, one of its chief proponents now has an office inside the White House.

Paula White’s Rise to Prominence

Televangelist Paula White’s rise to power resulted from the widespread shortage of sound biblical teaching on future things.

White amassed a personal fortune, estimated in excess of five million dollars, by promising her television audience health and prosperity if they contributed to her ministry. The response to such promises has not only made her wealthy but also has given her a platform that caught the attention of President Donald Trump, who selected her as an advisor. He has placed White in charge of his newly created White House Faith Office.

Sadly, White’s unbiblical beliefs, listed below, taint the advice she gives to the President:

  1. Jerusalem and the Land of Israel no longer belong exclusively to the descendants of Jacob via God’s unconditional covenants with His people.
  2. The Jewish people don’t have a place in God’s prophetic program for the future.
  3. The world is not racing toward the seven-year Tribulation judgments, as described in Revelation chapters 6-18, but is rather on a course leading to a time of worldwide prosperity, peace, and security administered by the church.
Sadly, her counsel to the President stems from these errant beliefs. Is it possible that, at a minimum, her beliefs regarding the church’s rule over the earth validate Trump’s belief that great prosperity lies ahead for America under his leadership?

What About Israel?

However, there’s another area where our President needs much better counsel than what White gives to him.

I don’t know for sure if Paula White’s errant views concerning Israel have influenced President Trump’s policies in any way. One has to wonder, however, about the influence of a White House faith advisor who rejects what the Bible says about the future of the Jewish people, the Land that God gave to them, and Jerusalem.

Trump has a proven record of supporting Israel, but will his desire to be a peacemaker cloud his judgment? Will he treat Israel as just another nation and thus fail to recognize its God-given right to the Land?

Bible Prophecy Matters

Paula White’s rise to power demonstrates the necessity of sound biblical teaching on Bible prophecy. Those who say it’s tertiary make a serious error in judgment, to say the least.

Pastors who minimize its importance allow false teaching to flourish in the Christian community. A scripturally valid view of future things is essential for believers to discern truth from error. The inability of Christians to do so has made multi-millionaires of charlatans such as White and others. Even worse, it has given their followers a false hope for the future and, in far too many cases, kept them from recognizing the necessity of trusting Jesus alone for the forgiveness of their sins and eternal life.

I’m convinced that any and all decisions that result from Trump’s jaunt to the Middle East will facilitate the Lord’s plan for the end times and bring us even closer to meeting our Savior in the air. We need not worry about the errant counsel the President receives from Paula White; the Lord long ago already factored that into His sovereign plans to rescue Israel during the upcoming seven-year Tribulation and establish His kingdom on the earth.

This does not excuse, however, the dearth of sound biblical teaching on Bible prophecy that exists today in our churches. It has created a void that has allowed false teachers such as Paula White to flourish and, in her case, rise to prominence in Washington, DC.

The being behind her rise to power is Satan. The fact that President Trump is supportive of Christianity is good. Satan can't possibly leave that alone though.

So what better person to plant next to Trump to whisper in his ear, to plant ideas into him and his team than a person who thinks God is done with Israel and the land is up for grabs.

Someone with Dominionist theology which teaches that the church WILL dominate the world before Jesus "can" come back. Yeah the theology is very very bad.

Dominionism teaches that the church must control the 7 mountains of influence (called the 7 Mountain Mandate) and those areas are: Family, Religion, Government, Business, Education, Arts & Entertainment, and Media.

The church has to bring these areas into submission (and all humanity too) before Jesus can possibly come back- to give this dominated earth to Him as a gift. A gospel of works.

Speaking of the gospel this theology commands the church to make the world behave. Not get the world saved- they have a funky idea on that too- they think that some get saved, others are lost, but the church should act like the Catholic church of the Dark Ages- force people into behaving.

So in between manipulating politicians, and spreading ideas about legislating morality rather than getting people saved, and letting the Holy Spirit change society thru them behaving as salt and light, it is a nasty theology she holds.

But wait there's MORE to quote infomercials on late night TV.

She is advising Trump that there is no Biblical reason for the Jews to be in Israel, or own the land.

Yeah THAT is the bigger elephant in the room where Paula is concerned.

Remember too that she is the one who supposedly led Trump to the Lord. Not sure of that but it's the answer given when anyone asks his team of spiritual advisors about his salvation.

Too bad it wasn't Pastor Jeffress, who had some access (don't know if he does anymore).
And really, really too bad Billy Graham isn't around to provide sound counsel, as he did for so many past Presidents, etc. Even non-Christians respected and listened to him.

Regardless, God's Will, as He has planned and ordained, will be done.

The opposite of the actual gospel and biblical teaching on the End Times. A popular false teaching. Praying that a real Spirit filled believer will be able to meet Donald Trump and tell him the truth. God Bless :)

During his first run for president I remember he met with a group of evangelicals and it was said at that time that he " got born again".... yada, yada... and seemingly was to garner the evangelical vote.

All though his first term he always had claimed he was a Presbyterian. No digs on the Presbys please.

Then after he appointed Paula White to head that office I did some searching on her because I knew the name but that is all.

I was appalled at some of her statements... the worst to me was she said... She went on to say that wherever she went, God rules, and even illustrated this statement by saying that whenever she walks on White House grounds, God too walks on White House grounds.

I will not challenge her calling, if it is true, but just too much is not of a good Christian mindset, IMO.

So, it was of no surprise to me to learn just a few months back when someone asked President Trump what his religious preference was and he said NON-denominational...

So who knows?

I would think others on Trump's :pray:er team would say something to him about Paula's false ideas like Franklin Graham.
One would think but Trump is not one who gets told much I bet.

Also, Trump believes God saved his life do he would be president... in Butler as well as om his golf course in FL.
So depending on how Paula talked to him, he may not believe what others say?

🤔 Isn't Pastor Jeffress non-denominational?

  :amen: :amen: :thankyou: :thankyou:

Since Jesus is always with us and The Holy Ghost dwells within us, God walks wherever we do.

🤔 Isn't Pastor Jeffress non-denominational?
He is First Baptist Dallas.

So maybe President Trump is claiming non-denominational to still claim Christian, but not offend any particular churches or denominations since there's such division in the Earthly Church.

Or maybe, President Trump believes as many non-denominational churches do (pre-Trib, etc.). Perhaps he claims non-denominational to make it harder for attacks on his beliefs by either Christians or enemies of the Church, or maybe he doesn't have a Church home and it's easier, at least for now, to claim non-denominational and protect both himself and whatever denomination he might have claimed. I can't help but wonder if President Trump no longer claims Presbyterian because of the split over LGBTQABCXYZ.

I was listening to Jack Hibbs’ podcasts on Part 1 and 2 (link below) on “Are You Being Deceived?” and “False Teachers: Here We Go Again” and he specifically calls out Paula White, along with Joel Olsteen, Benny Hinn, and my minds showing my age because I took notes, somewhere….oh! I know, Joyce Meyers.

Although he doesn’t specifically talk about White’s influence on our President, however, we know that she’s got too much influence on him! This isn’t an all inclusive list, nor am I sure that he’s finished with these, however, I enjoy listening to him, and these are fairly short. He explains some of their false doctrine, definitely against the Word of God!
