The legislation would overhaul federal election laws in all 50 states by imposing new voter ID and proof-of-citizenship requirements. But it faces a daunting path in the Senate.

I highly doubt this will pass in the senate. The dems will filibuster, and the GOP will not get the 60 votes required to break the filibuster in order to pass the bill.

Its highly unlikely even if it makes it for a vote that 60 senators will vote for it, which is needed to block the filibuster.

It seems clear to me that Congress does not have the best interests of the American people in mind. The Deep State owns Congress and a big chunk of the judicial branch. When they get their hands on the Executive Branch again I imagine there will be a quick 180 deg change from what we're seeing now, and it won't be in the people's best interests.
