House passes SAVE America Act, sending Trump-backed election bill to the Senate

The legislation would overhaul federal election laws in all 50 states by imposing new voter ID and proof-of-citizenship requirements. But it faces a daunting path in the Senate.

It's common sense and the law. Here, and for decades, you have always had to show ID to vote.

But the Democrats will push back,I'm sure.

I have to check because this just occurred to me. Till then, does anyone know if chain migration has been barred, rescinded?
That was always a bad thing.

Time to pray it passes the Senate for the sake of your country and free and fair elections. FWIW I suspect this terrifies the Dems.

I saw today that they got Susan Collins to sign on to reach 50 votes. Vance can cast the tie breaker and the bill can pass. This is a huge deal for fair elections going forward. Good job Republicans, see what you can do when you try.
I highly doubt this will pass in the senate. The dems will filibuster, and the GOP will not get the 60 votes required to break the filibuster in order to pass the bill.
