"New files turned over to congressional investigators from the estate of Jeffrey Epstein suggest the convicted sex offender, in the last years of his life, had ties with President Donald Trump’s former adviser Elon Musk.

The documents, which were delivered to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and published Friday by the panel’s Democrats, come in response to the committee probe into the Epstein case. In what appears to be a copy of Epstein’s itinerary, Musk had a tentative trip to Epstein’s island on Dec. 6, 2014. A note appended to that plan reads, “is this still happening?” At the time, Epstein owned a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands."

Thiel is more than a prominent megadonor, he is owner of Palantir- and other AI stuff that he and Musk have worked to insert into Donald Trumps agenda for his presidency.

Also according to the newly released files, Microsoft founder Bill Gates had a tentative breakfast party in 2014 with Epstein."

These are powerful individuals, close to Trump. They could easily put pressure on the administration to keep them out of the news. Musk didn't seem aware that he was mentioned too or he wouldn't have pressed for the release of these files.

Maybe these names on the Epstein files are part of why Trump and his administration have been reluctant to publish details.

Probably, but with the kind of money most of these have, it's not unexpected they attended some social events back in the day.

Yes. So I'd like to caution everybody that when rich people associate, it does not necessarily mean anything nefarious is involved. Rich, powerful people rub shoulders regularly and attend each other's events. In most cases, outside of their close friends, they do not know the real souls of the people they associate with. It is no different than with people like us. We think we know people, but most of us only know others to a certain depth...but not all the way. Think of the friends and neighbors of the average killer: the media interview them and they nearly always say, "He seemed like such a nice guy." So, I would be very hesitant to judge anybody who merely associated with Epstein on occasion. There would need to be some actual evidence of their wrongdoing, as there already is with some others who associated closely with him and spent a lot of time at his island and his private parties.

100% agree.

The reluctance of this administration to publish their names is NOT an admission of their guilt in any way shape or form.

It merely shows the reality facing the administration in keeping it's promise to make the files public. Something the Democrats are now exploiting.

Because real people are in there, and not all for the same reasons. Some are quite close to Trump. And Epstein was very good at his blackmailing business. He needed a respectable cover.

Regardless of how they got in those files, they are capable of putting pressure on the administration to keep them out of the public eye.

As Musk found out- I doubt he was aware that he appeared in an entry dated Dec 6, 2014 - it was a tentative trip, and someone with access to these files (presumably Epstein or his secretary) asks "is this still happening?"

But here he is finding out that he's in the files, in the document dump organized by the Dems. Musk fought to get fresh air and sunlight on these files. I doubt he realized his own name showed up.

In the end fresh air and sunlight are the best cure for blackmail.

I think it would be improper to assume guilt by association without evidence of actual wrong doing. If there is evidence of wrong doing, then the perps should find themselves locked up.

What is interesting in the is article is the comment from the Press Secretary. To me, if I did not know any better, it would be something for public consumption. A story board item for the masses. A rhetoric that underscores Elon and Trump were not conspiring with DOGE. A way to help the country not buy into leftist ideology that Trump and Elon scheme together. A way to demonstrate how different they are. And how they are not aligned enough to conspire. Which leads me to think there will probably be more concerning these two as duo activists together.

But yeah, Politico kind of has an agenda. So wondering if that document is even real. But Epstein did attest to being offered. So it would seem he made it at least as far as Epstein's calendar. But not his plane log. The comment: "Is this still on" is curious. LIke why was it ever on to begin with? Blessings.

I read a book about Epstein a few months ago. It seems his organization would seek out and solicit powerful people who often did not know what he was about. After some time he would feel them out and introduce them to all of the honeypot stuff to try to entrap them and get powerful blackmail on the world's stage.

This also was exploited in my opinion by various intelligence agencies of different governments.

I think he was a complete narcissist whom also had a big problem with sex addiction. He went off the rails and that is what caused him to get caught even though he likely thought himself invincible due to said blackmail.

That is my working theory, entirely a theory, not at all provable by any means.
