| PROMISE #323 - WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 19, 2025 11/19/2025 “Promise #323: I will be your safe place in difficult times. Nahum 1:7 (WEB) Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him. The NIV Bible says Nahum 1:7 this way... The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him. Ecclesiastes says there is a season for all things, so there is no escaping the fact that we will all have difficult times. Jesus reminded us in John 16:33 that though we will have trouble in this world, we can take heart because He has overcome the world. In today's promise, we are reminded that because the Lord is good and cares for those who trust in Him, He will be our refuge in times of trouble. He will be our stronghold, safe place, and haven of rest amid the storm. No matter what comes our way, we can trust in this promise to sustain us. So today, I pray that we would all be comforted by this promise and choose to live in the secret place of the Most High (Psalm 91) so that He might be our refuge in times of trouble.” |

Precious sister,December 10, 2025
Happy Wednesday,
Blessed By God
As most of you know this last year and a half has had so many new changes in my life. Losing my husband and my dementia is getting worse are just a few of the many changes. Today started with alot of confusion for me. Yet I feel at peace. I realized how blessed I am that God has filled me with Peace in the midst of the storms of my life.
God is so wonderful to meet us where we are. To provide our needs and to encourage us. We must not take for granted God’s love for us. If we look around we can find blessings in all of our lives.
Maranatha,
Betty
Amen, Betty! Thank you for sharing this wonderful word of exhortation.December 10, 2025

Happy Friday,
Christmas Season
I love Christmas. I love the decorations, the carols, and the food. Everything is not joyous this time of year. We are more aware of those who will be missing from Christmas Dinner. It is painful missing loved ones who have passed away.
One thing we can do to help ourselves is to remember the many memories we have with our loved ones. Think of the times we laughed together and enjoyed fun things together. Also we can pray for God to comfort and encourage us.
We as Christians can remind ourselves that our Christian loved ones are with the One we are celebrating. One day, we will be with them at a marvelous reunion in Heaven where we will worship our Savior and King face to face.
Maranatha,
Betty
