On the one hand, we all know ‘talk is cheap’, so it may be that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky is just posturing when he hints that his forces may well attack the May 9th Victory Day Parade in Moscow, Russia – an event that will gather thousands of people, including as many as 20 heads of state.

This would amount to an especially damning escalation since Putin declared a 3-day truce from May 8-10 – a proposal that Kiev sneered at, but hasn’t publicly rejected.

However, given the apparent lack of common-sense reasoning, many people are taking him seriously when he says Russia is ‘rightfully worried when it fears an attack on the military parade’.

For a long time, now, the Kiev regime leaders have been trying to ensnare the US and NATO into their war, knowing full well that it would take this brush with Armageddon to give them a fighting chance in their losing effort.

The TGP has reported that Vladimir Putin Declared a 3-Day Ceasefire on May 8-10 During Celebrations of 80th Anniversary of the Victory Against Nazis in WW2.

After a few days, Zelensky finally announced that he rejects the truce and ‘can’t guarantee the safety’ of the more than a dozen foreign dignitaries that will be present.

Former Russian president Dmitri Medvedev, a voice for Russian maximalism and a man who does not mince words, came out with the inevitable nuclear retaliation threat.

I have a feeling that deal that he just signed with Trump (or rather their underlings signed) will be worth the paper it's printed on only.

Because what is the point of the US guaranteeing Ukrainian safety in return for minerals needed in chip manufacture to side step China if Ukraines "dear leader" is going to continue to attack Moscow. That just invites Moscow to retaliate but also could pull the States into the conflict.

In one way, if this is so, I'm kind of glad Putin stands up against NATO for now. I certainly don't want war and hostility from Putin. But Ukraine is his direct backyard. And NATO has played games on him in the past from what I understand. So in one way, whatever Putin needs to get out of his system concerning NATO, I just hope there is reasonable and helpful negotiations to leave Putin with a better sense toward NATO. If I were him, I would not trust NATO in Ukraine either. Not that it is. But just that a Putin border against NATO/Ukraine presence would be the sensible negotiating strategy I would think. Trump partnering with Ukraine does suggest Putin/NATO concern I am sure. But just hope there is a way to signal helpfully to Russia that a deal with Ukraine is not a tip to the hat toward NATO. I would hope for that to be clear. Blessings.
