thanks Janice. I was hearing a lot about the 25th Amendment and each article agreed with this one.

And that is the conclusion that seems most likely. Force him out at the convention but keep him as President till the end of his current term. Because he is their puppet and Kamala shows a distinct ability to go off script in unplanned directions- so she can't be relied on.

For Obama to continue to rule the country, Biden will remain as President but will be removed as the Dem candidate by the convention. And whoever they advance as the candidate (I think Newsome is most likely) will need to be able to follow Obama's orders. Which does also bring in the possibility of Hilary, however rickety she's become she is one of Obama's inner circle and one that is in constant touch with the White House if the news reports of that are true.

So my probability would be Gavin Newsome, then Hilary.

Michelle Obama hates politics and has turned it all down on multiple occasions but it depends on how desperate Obama becomes to maintain control of the White House.

The Democrat National Convention is August 19-22 so we will see if he steps down on his own or they replace him with someone else.

The powers that be probably need to convince the wife, not diben himself, who half the time doesn't realize he's the president. They could probably convince him he's a senator from whatever state he's a resident of, give him some ice cream and convince him that he's retiring from his political career after proving to be the greatest politician America has ever had... They'll probably offer the wife a couple hundred million to end this and she'll probably take it.

I forget how much obama got right after he left office. He gave some short speech somewhere and they paid him around a quarter billion or so... I forget now. It was barely in the news, but it was clearly a pay-off for following whatever he was told to do.

OK so I just heard something that I think makes a LOT of sense, and puts this Biden thing into Biblical perspective.

So I'm listening to Don Stewart's 2cd news of the day here: Breaking News, June 30, 2024 Part 2 and if you go to approximately the 5:37 stamp Don introduces this idea

While Biden is fighting for his political future, ISRAEL IS FREE AND CLEAR TO ATTACK HEZBOLLAH and get stuff DONE while the party of antisemitism is busy deciding who gets to be king and how it takes place.

Everything always revolves around Israel. This may be the green light they need as long as they've got enough weapons (Biden's slow walking the weapons has left Israel short)

and just who made this decision? President Biden, or did someone else(s)?
If someone else, he or she better have guardianship papers signed by a judge

If someone has guardianship over President Biden, he is no longer capable of taking care of his own affairs, and, therefore, incapable of taking care of the affairs of State, and MUST step down or be involuntarily removed.


and if President Biden is incapable of running for office, he's surely incapable of performing the duties of said office, and MUST step down or be involuntarily removed.

There are legal, involuntary ways of removing the President from office, and the way the Constitution's worded, MUST be used in the event that he or she does not step down voluntarily in the event of incapacity, etc.

IAW the Constitution, Vice President Harris should be President or Acting President (depends on which way President Biden chooses to go) in the next few days/this week

I for one I'm not at all shocked that his family is wanting him to stay on as president. No doubt Jill and Hunter are at the head of that list. The Democratic leadership is caught in a bit of a quandary because if they admit that he's not capable of continuing, then they are revealed for the liars they have been, and the question would arise why is Joe Biden not being removed via the 25th Amendment due to the fact that he is no longer capable of performing the duties of the office. So I suspect they will make some kind of backroom deal (likely money and protection from prosecution) that will get the Biden family on side and then reveal at the convention itself that, while Joe Biden is honored to be their candidate, for health reasons (or some other reason) he has decided that he cannot continue. Then they will trot out their pre-arranged substitute. At least, that's what I'm thinking may happen. We'll find out by August 19th or 20th.
