In a departure from decades of U.S. foreign policy, President Donald Trump announced this week that the U.S. would "clean out" the Gaza Strip and rebuild it, saying Palestinians living there should leave -- a statement that the United Nations and allies, including France and Germany, have called a violation of international law.

In the days since, Trump's plan has shifted by the day.

If the U.S. takes steps to force the displacement of the over 2 million Palestinians living in Gaza, U.S. officials could face arrest and prosecution in the International Criminal Court, a tribunal that prosecutes individuals under rules of international law.

Despite the U.S. not being one of the 125 states that recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC, the court can issue warrants for Americans whose actions in Gaza and the West Bank violate international law, if an ICC prosecutor's investigation finds reasonable grounds to believe that specific individuals perpetrated crimes, according to Tom Dannenbaum, an associate professor of international law at Tufts University's Fletcher School.

We also have our military forces to protect our officials if that becomes necessary.

Trump's term is relatively short. I don't believe the USA has another like Donald Trump.

These 4 years, if the Church is here that long, will be interesting to experience, at least for US citizens.

If Satan's minions are largely defanged during this period, I think they'll quickly claw their way back when the time comes.

For whatever reasons God has, I believe He has sustained Trump against the enemy. I don't think any human being has strength of their own to live through what Trump has survived over the last 8 years.

Completely agree. IMO, the prophetic timeline has hit a major speed bump.

Maybe not. Maybe these are exactly the conditions to set up the arrival of the Antichrist. And hence our prior departure.

We really have no way of knowing with any certainty. We know the signs abound, but not the timeline for God to call us Home. Events in the Middle East could ratchet down quickly if Trump and BiBi are successful in ending the war - at least for the near future.

Trump could broker a deal to end the Ukraine war, and it will take Russia awhile to rebuild their military, and fill the ranks of troops to pre Ukraine levels.

There could easily be a lengthy “calm before the storm”.
