British PM: We will recognize Palestinian state in September unless Israel takes steps

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he "will recognize a Palestinian state in September unless the Israeli government takes significant steps to end the situation in Gaza." He added that he "will conduct an assessment before the UN summit in September and make a final decision." In addition, Starmer stated that "there is no place for comparison between Israel and Hamas, and our demands against the terrorist organization remain unchanged," and that he "decided on this step to protect the existence of the two-state solution."

At the start of the Gaza war in October 2023, when Starmer was the opposition leader, he fully backed Israel's right to defend itself. But his stance has shifted over the years to a tougher approach to Israel, especially since his election as prime minister just over a year ago.
His government dropped the previous government’s challenge over arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and has suspended some weapon sales to Israel.
Last month, Britain sanctioned two far-right Israeli cabinet ministers, Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, accusing them of repeatedly inciting violence against Palestinians.

Its starting for sure. The end point of all that will be when all the nations gathering against Israel and Jerusalem at the end of the Tribulation.

For us to see this suddenly lurch forward after years where Britain, Aus, NZ, Canada and the US plus others have stood united against the regular UN resolutions targeting Israel - IS SIGNIFICANT

We are seeing the restraints being lifted, and the heart of man, the leaders of these countries express their true feelings, unrestrained by fear of Christian voters.

The 5 Permanent Members of the UN security council are:

The USA- pro Israel

Russia - usually against Israel

China- usually against Israel

France - often against Israel

The UK - usually for Israel and usually votes with the States

The fact that 4/5 will be voting AGAINST Israel is why the news about France and the UK going against the US and Israel matters so much. This carries weight.

Each of these members has veto power against any resolutions. They can block the majority vote single handedly.

So Israel is still safe with the US on their side, but now 4 out of the 5 who have veto power are siding against Israel.

When the Rapture happens, and the US loses its' voter base that supported Israel there will be nobody on their side.

At least till the Rapture, Israel is safe with the US veto against any resolutions demanding a 2 state solution.
