US includes Trumps entire 20 point peace plan into a UN resolution establishing "a credible path to Palestinian Statehood"

I honestly believe Pres. Trump is truly unaware of the hate level of the Gazan people. He is thinking that giving them a nice place to live, with good jobs and schools, will change their minds and they all of a sudden become peaceful. These are not normal people.

It seems he wants to impose peace upon the world regardless of the details. In some cases peace can only come by annihilating the enemy first.

The vote passed. :eye roll: Here is CNN's account: https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/17/middleeast/us-gaza-israel-un-vote-intl-latam

The UN Security Council passed a US-drafted resolution Monday that aims to move beyond the fragile truce in Gaza to a more sustainable peace and the reconstruction of the devastated enclave.

The 15-member council voted 13 to 0 in favor of the resolution, with abstentions by Russia and China, which declined to use their veto power to block the measure.

The resolution was intended to add international legitimacy to US President Donald Trump’s 20-point Gaza plan, parts of which formed the basis of the ceasefire that took effect in the Gaza Strip last month. The United States had lobbied hard for its passage, which was praised by Trump in a lengthy post on social media.

“Congratulations to the World on the incredible Vote of the United Nations Security Council, just moments ago, acknowledging and endorsing the BOARD OF PEACE, which will be chaired by me, and include the most powerful and respected Leaders throughout the World,” Trump wrote.

and at the bottom where few will notice is this:

After Monday’s vote, Hamas said that giving any stabilization force “tasks and roles inside the Gaza Strip, including disarming the resistance, strips it of its neutrality and turns it into a party to the conflict.”

and this

Some Hamas officials continue to rule out disarmament of the group’s military wing. Hamas fighters would be reluctant to give up light weapons to protect themselves from other groups in Gaza seeking retribution.

President Trump just posted the following:

Congratulations to the World on the incredible Vote of the United Nations Security Council, just moments ago, acknowledging and endorsing the BOARD OF PEACE, which will be chaired by me, and include the most powerful and respected Leaders throughout the World. This will go down as one of the biggest approvals in the History of the United Nations, will lead to further Peace all over the World, and is a moment of true Historic proportion! Thank you to the United Nations, and all of the Countries on the U.N. Security Council, China, Russia, France, The United Kingdom, Algeria, Denmark, Greece, Guyana, South Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, and Somalia. Also thank you to those Countries that weren’t on this Committee, but strongly backed the effort, including Qatar, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkiye, and Jordan. The members of the Board, and many more exciting announcements, will be made in the coming weeks.

Here is Hamas' response:

Hamas condemns the Security Council's decision to approve the American proposal for Gaza:
"The decision imposes an international trusteeship mechanism on the Gaza Strip, which our people, forces, and factions reject. Resistance to the occupation by all means is a legitimate right anchored by international laws and conventions. The weapon of resistance is linked to the existence of the occupation, and any discussion on the matter should remain an internal national issue related to a political path that guarantees the end of the occupation, the establishment of the state, and the determination of fate."

I'd agree with this view. If we are near Ez 38 timing though, it seems that the word implies it comes from the outside not the inside. If that is what the word is conveying, and we are in that timezone, then perhaps somehow Trump helps to neutralize those of Palestinian heritage and wean them from proxy motives of Iran +. Or, maybe there is no Palestine in Israel when Ez 38 hits and all this talk is smoke and mirrors for other agendas. In any event, thanks for sharing you heart. I'd say this is a reasonable take on how Trump is likely looking at it. Amen.

If this goes down like that, I would imagine Zech 12 is for the tribulation era alone -- for this is seemingly going the other way.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out Hamas.
