TAMPA, Fla. – U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces began setting conditions for clearing mines in the Strait of Hormuz, April 11, as two U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers conducted operations.

USS Frank E. Peterson (DDG 121) and USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) transited the Strait of Hormuz and operated in the Arabian Gulf as part of a broader mission to ensure the strait is fully clear of sea mines previously laid by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

That is an amazing article especially the paper it is. It would seem we are getting closer...where Iran is hopefully getting used to the idea of opening the strait. But its like Pharoah agreeing to let Israel go free...lol. He had a really hard time staying open. Unto and causing his very death over it. He needed those bricks.

Iran closes Strait of Hormuz a second time hours after opening

I think the good news is Iran has at least entered the space and time of 30 seconds in the land of "Yes we will reopen the strait." Prayers. Amen.

I skimmed a really good piece a few minutes ago. It was actually on Facebook, so can't post here and I want to research the author when I get a chance. He said we're seeing the Iranian leadership fragment with the hardliners reasserting themselves. At this point, diplomacy is out the window since there's no one person to make a deal with and with the end game probably starting soon. There was more, but I'm not up to date on the news. Could be an interesting week ahead.
