As you know I think all of prophecy revolves around Israel and here it is showing up with the name of the DOD/DOW.
Israel comes into her land and reforms the nation in 1948
Shortly after the Dept of War becomes the Dept of Defense
And now here we are almost 2 years into the horrors of Israel's invasion by Hamas in Gaza, attacks by Hezbollah in Iran, missiles from Iran, and their proxies the Houthis.
And Trump renames it back to the Dept of War.
It almost points a spotlight on what I believe was the rise of the USA as a world power after WW2- when Britain's fall as a world power was complete (along with their opposition to refugee Jews fleeing the Holocaust before WW2, and even afterwards as Britain looked to appease the Arab oil power in Saudi Arabia.
The USA emerges as the world power - to defend ISRAEL
And now they are called to war- with Israel to help her.

Thanks Margery. It makes sense that America change DOW to DOD beacause of its stance to "defend" Israel. America on a biblical map consideration is not even so much as mentioned. That we know of (I think it does...but let's go with what is clear and plain readings). As we look at today, many are wondering if Trump is the President of Israel. Why so much American favor? Even beyond that, Trump issued an Executive Order and Congress passed a law protecting "specifically Israel" from hate speech on college campuses. From a 1st amendment standpoint, some American's are sickened by how much preference the USA gives Israel. When we think about it though Margery...isn't that a great problem to be said of having? Does not that problem imply its NOT, so much, do the elbow nudge in "some" to "great" effect?
The concerns of given Israel preference is a big deal in America. Not to everyone. But it is concerning when protecting Israel takes precidence over the 1st amendment. Yet THAT is how much Israel is regarded. What is noteworthy to me in this arena is the distractions of Christian Nationalism and/or the Re-upping of America. The sheer irony that a powerful America = a powerful Israel is beyond question. I am sure some worry about what happens after Trump. But I would say the trajectory the country is now on, America is primed not for protecting a 4 year election. But completely gutting globalism. I realize that is too big of a step for most. But just saying, if that occurs it almost won't matter who is the next president because so much will have been changed likely, it would be impossible to get globalism going again.
Personally I believe that America should be a distraction. And is actually meant to be a distraction for cause. That cause being, as goes America so goes Israel. But it does not seem like this is something the evangelical community can get their arms around. At least in the watcher movement sense. Am I wrong? What I have seen is this (when coming to how to look at things):

To condsider America is coming back is to be too worldly focused. And to want worldly government over Christ. Besides, look at the Genuis Act, the AI, all the things Trump will provide his predecessor with. We are doomed (of course omitting parts of the Genuis act that keep the dollar staple if we switch off the globalist beast system American dollar system currently in operation).
DO THIS
See America as designing the beast system. All government is evil. Its all conspiring together. Understand it is two sides of the same coin. It only leads to more deception. See America as creating the beast system. Witness and pray for an early rapture.
Very personally -- I am appalled that this is the level Christianity was only able to reach where it has in the way and places it has. To me, this is such a sad state of being in. To me, this is saying to God: "I don't care what you want to do with Israel to tell us how the story should look. Our view of America is stronger than your use of Israel. And we see the book of Revelation. And we know what will happen...so help us, You, God." Tongue in cheek. I know no-one is saying that. But to me, that is how it feels sometimes, where the church seems to stray out there in certain left field on that note, to me.
I could have treated how I saw the church 20 or 30 years ago much more soundly. With much more empathy. Because the bottom line was not what they said or did...it boiled down to who is God to me. This sounds prideful. This sounds perhaps new age. I don't mean it different than the word. But I tried so hard to line up to how the church was thinking I conspired with them to translate me into the image of the church. This was my fault. This was me not understanding that what was shown in His word concerning false teaching takes second place to who He is in my life. And I treated it the other way around. This may sound strange. I place a very high premium on sound teaching amen. But I made sound teaching a technocrat [g]od.
So, Magery, your notice of this dear sister is very precious. Not in a sense of "I know what prophetically is going on" dance. But "Yes, God is that real," dance. It brings me closer to spiritual home where I tend to try and let the border gates remain open. lol. And invade the country of my soul with this or that. But what is most precious to me is to see God for who He really is. And not to make my political or my eschatological views enforce that. But not let them crowd Him out either. So this is like chicken soup for the soul dear sister.

But back to what I was saying though, its neat to see that now the name has changed it might imply America having a war stance against globalism. Amen...perhaps. Or that it can have also a sense of prophetic motif of Ez 38 on the horizon for Israel...since in promiximity of them we changed. Whatever that "might" mean, what is truly interesting to fathom is if in proximity to this name change defense/war, Israel comes of age in prominent ways perhaps never imagined for her temporarily. I reckon if that goes down, wow, in connection to the name change. I mean...lol...come on...how loud does it have to be...lol.
Margery you are bringing up another fascinating point dear sister. And let me ask to be sure, because I never really thought this one through. But are you saying that WW2 was when America started to really become a major world player? In looking this up, it seems true. That America becomes a superpower in light of WW2 and thereafter. So, again...wow...this is like a coloring book with water colors level of insight. And the kind I like to gravitate to. Not high posturings of philosphical grandure...but pastels and coloring book crayon level providences of God. That America became a super power at the time Israel became a nation. So, any questions? Nuff said.
I hate that last term. Never use it. But seemed really fitting just there...lol. When Providence is so stupid easy, it seems like anything "but God." And yes, that was a pun. Thanks for this hug dear lady. My mode now toward the church in general is most overwhelmingly empathetic and to care lovingly. Because the first 25 years of my Christian life was trying to jockey for correct doctrine all the while tearing my life to shreds doing it. When it would have been a lot sweeter to see God transcend my imagined moment. So, the best I think I can do now is to make up that difference. And you do make that easier. Blessings.
