The anger reaction isn't enough . . .

Blasphemy 😱 :fear: :runaway:

I'm not sure if 2 Thessalonians 2 would apply, at least in pattern and warning.
Ditto Isaiah 14:12-20.

However, I'm sure that Exodus 20:2-3 does apply.
And Deuteronomy 5:6-7

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exodus 20:2-3, KJV

6 I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Deuteronomy 5:6-7, KJV

A fire-and-brimstone Pastor needs to "do something."
Confession, repentance, forgiveness, and God's grace are needed. I wonder if exorcism may be warranted.
I think I'll ask one of the Pastors at my church.

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:5-10, KJV

  :amen: :amen: :thankyou: :thankyou:

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2 Thessalonians 2:3-9, KJV

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
Isaiah 14:12-20, KJV

Trump's Nebuchadnezzar Moment: A Warning About Pride In The Midst Of Power

there is growing discomfort with the increasingly blurred line between political admiration and spiritual exaltation--especially when imagery and rhetoric begin to drift into territory that belongs only to Christ.

That tension has once again surfaced in the wake of recent online controversy involving an AI-generated image circulated on Trump's Truth Social account, in which he appears to be depicted in a Christ-like role. While the exact intent behind the post has not been clearly explained by Trump or his official representatives, the imagery itself has sparked concern and confusion, even among his most loyal Christian supporters.

For many believers, the question is simple: Why would this be posted at all?
For many believers, this kind of comparison--however well-intended--crosses a line from political encouragement into spiritual confusion.
The image that raised more questions than answers

Nebuchadnezzar: a sobering biblical parallel

It is in moments like these that many Christians instinctively reach for biblical parallels--not to condemn, but to interpret.

One figure often mentioned in discussions about power, pride, and political greatness is King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar was not a weak or irrelevant ruler; he was arguably the most powerful man of his era. He acknowledged the God of Israel at times, even witnessing divine revelation. Yet he also struggled deeply with pride.

From the article ....

But the danger in such frameworks is not the comparison itself--it is what happens when political admiration begins to drift into spiritual inflation.

The concern some believers are now voicing is not that Trump intends to replace Christ, but that the environment around political devotion can slowly blur sacred boundaries. When language of persecution becomes spiritually heightened, and when imagery begins to place a leader in proximity to Christ, even symbolically, it raises the question: where does honor end and exaltation begin?

Trump can be overly silly and tease all sorts of blasphemy.

It’s best to ignore his goofiness and pray for him. Keep in mind that he is poking fun at the Pope.

Back when he first ran and we were on RF, I’d argue against him because I knew what gamblers are like (my dad was addicted). Whether or not Trump gambles, I considered him a man of low character due to casinos.

Now I see that God uses him, that we may greet him in Heaven, and we pray for him. I thank God for all that Trump has accomplished.

The joke is on those who despise him despite the fact that God is using him for important good work— AND those who think he walks on water. He’s a very flawed man who may be saved. All we need is a mirror to see God saves very flawed people.

Trump posts, then deletes AI image of himself as Jesus-like figure, sparking blasphemy accusations

President Trump drew a firestorm of criticism — including from conservatives — for sharing an AI-generated image portraying himself as a Christ-like figure, with some accusing the commander-in-chief of “blasphemy.”

The image, posted on his Truth Social account Sunday night but then deleted Monday morning, features Trump clad in billowy white-and-red robes and placing his hand on the forehead of a man lying in a hospital bed, his other hand radiating a divine light.

The depiction quickly went viral, sparking widespread condemnation, including Trump-supporting conservative figures who were appalled by the image.

The White House did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Trump said he thought a fake image depicting him as Jesus was showing him as a doctor. The image has been deleted from the president’s Truth Social feed. “I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor, and had to do with Red Cross,” he said.

I saw it. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one, given how quickly he took it down.

From dropping excrement on protesters in a fighter jet to posing as the Pope, these are the President’s most outrageous AI posts...

. . . . .

What I make of this latest one is Trump as some kind of supernatural healer. I don't see it as a Jesus standin. Nor do i see the man he is touching as Epstein? Which some are claiming. Please anyone with your takes to kind of sort out what it is we might be seeing here might be very helpful.

My views on this are not mainstream in either direction:

* Trump bible, Retweeting of 2nd coming of God, as pope, as a healer etc...

I just see that Trump is a bigger than life figure historically. And a man that goes out of his way to use controversy to sell. Like the Apprentice (which i believe made him $300 million), he is doing reality TV still. I know he knows the difference. But the over-the=top offers to me is modern (actually post-modern) waves of theater for attention. Because Trump affirmed Jerusalem and Golan Heights, this, i believe, places him in category worthy territory of what God might be doing a bit more rapidly in the middle east in our day (providentially using the most powerful office in the world to highlight it). This is extremely hard to accept because with Trump comes king kong levels of bias the man practically creates for himself. All in all, whatever it might or might not suggest...

...to me...it suggests so much obnoxious noise that in some way is likely some form of a heads up in how later prophetic realities form in the middle east in reference to this king kong sized showman with unending attitude. Like a tap on the world shoulder. Maybe even a wakeup call.

But i'd be interested in the opinions of Trump's latest...miracle worker AI meme. Do you guys see it as Trump saying he is Jesus? Do you see the guy he is healing as Epstein?

The problem is doctors dont wear clothes like that. What the image shows him wearing is similar to what is commonly seen Jesus wearing in an artists rendition of images of Jesus. I think that is why it was characterized as him portraying himself as Jesus.

He's nearly 80, and probably saw it on a cell phone where it would be significantly smaller. I can't speak to his eyesight, but I know that my eyes go a bit jiggy on small print and I do occasionally end up with the wrong item from the supermarket because I didn't see something clearly, and I'm not nearly his age. Throw in some distraction from all the things he's dealing with, and yeah, it really could have been an honest mistake.

If it wasn't, God will deal with it.

I agree honestyly.
Usually when Trump finds something funny and posts it, he will double down on it in the face of criticism, not take it down or even admit to being mistaken.

I definitely don't think Trump is "beyond" being egotistical but in this case and with that particular image I also say "not guilty."

Oh, his ego and his mouth make me want to :headbang: sometimes.
