Trump floats ENDING war in Iran after mysterious call with Putin

Donald Trump has suggested his war with Iran could soon come to an end just hours after completing a mysterious phone call with Vladimir Putin.

Trump told reporters US forces are 'very far ahead of schedule', claiming Iran's military has effectively been destroyed.

'I think the war is very complete, pretty much,' Trump told CBS News. 'They have no navy, no communications, they've got no Air Force ... Wrapping up is all in my mind.'

Trump told a Republican members conference in Doral this afternoon that he expected the conflict to be over soon - after last week warning it could run beyond its original four-week timescale.

Kremlin: Putin, in a phone call with Trump, shares proposals to end Iran war quickly

MOSCOW, March 9 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a telephone conversation on Monday with U.S. President Donald Trump, put forward proposals for a quick ‌settlement of the conflict around Iran, Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said.

Ushakov said Trump believed it was in the U.S. interest to see a "rapid end to the conflict in Ukraine with a ceasefire and a long-term settlement".

But.....

Trump: 'We will not rest until the enemy is completely destroyed'

U.S. President Donald Trump said in his speech at the Republican conference in Florida that "we have won in many ways, but it is still not enough.
We will not relent until the enemy is completely and decisively defeated."

Trump is just speaking this way to keep global financial markets from going crazy. For a small example the price per barrel on crude oil is close to doubling since the current corrective action began. I'm sure you all have seen it at the gas pumps. I only go down to half tank before I refill any time prices are rising. Trump wouldn't consult with Putin on ending any conflict, besides $100 A barrel crude price would serve Putin's economy well.

I tend to agree with you.
Anyone who has paid close attention to how he works, knows he doesnt think like a politician or a world leader.
He has the mindset of a business man, always thinking "The Art of The Deal".
Some say he uses the Reagan model, "The Carrot and The Stick".
I think he uses a Stick "disguised" as a Carrot
Trump doesnt like to lose. He is all out to win.
He may want the war with Iran to end, but he will only end it with a win on his terms.
World leaders and the media dont understand his tactics.
He uses tactics like selling real estate.
If he is going to make the sell, he has to point out the "good" points of the "real estate" and he isnt going to point out the problems with it, or the potential "buyer" is going to lose interest in the deal.
He knows the longer this war drags on the oil supply crisis will impact the global economy, and that will essentially mpact the US economy, and that would put a big dent in his Golden Age prosperity plans for America.
I dont think Trump is going to end this war with Iran until he has Iran''s leaders where he wants them.
I think peace will ultimately have to come out of this Middle East situation.
There has to be so Israel will be in a state of "security" that will lead to the Ezekiel 38 invasion.
