Trump Says Iran War Is Nearly Complete

President Donald Trump said Monday that the Iran War is nearly complete and that he is considering taking over the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump made the comments during a phone conversation with CBS News Senior White House Correspondent Weijia Jiang.

“I think the war is very complete, pretty much. They have no navy, no communications, they’ve got no Air Force,” Jiang wrote on X, quoting the president after the call.

Trump told her that Operation Epic Fury is “very far” ahead of the four-to-five-week window initially estimated. When Jiang asked Trump if he had a message for Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, who is the son of late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, he said he did not, but noted he has someone in mind to replace him.

I hope Trump doesn't compel Israel to end this before the job is done. I don't think he will but time will tell. I think he spoke to try and calm the markets.

So long as Iran has so much as one launcher they're still a threat.

I notice there is no mention above of the nuclear production plants being destroyed. If not, then we are ending things too soon, and that will haunt the whole area in due time.t

Agree. Whenever it does end, Iran will no longer be a threat to their neighbors.

Their new leader has already been targeted, and it’s just a matter of time before he is terminated.

Iran will still have some shell of a military, which will be needed for them to join up with Russia for EZ 38.

The IDF says it has killed 200 Hezbollah militants so far, while Hezbollah has yet to release a casualty count.

Hezbollah dragged Lebanon into the Iran war on Monday by launching rocket attacks against Israel, to the consternation of some Lebanese officials who said the terror group should not unilaterally seize control of their country’s foreign policy.

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Monday declared all Hezbollah military activity to be “illegal and forbidden,” and ordered Lebanon’s armed forces to arrest violators, although it remains unclear if they have the strength and willpower to do so.
