I really can't believe that he will be in power too much longer. IMHO, this is a glaring nail in his political coffin. But who knows. Politics can be a strange beast. I genuinely don't know anyone who does like him and if he can't keep his family together, in all reality, he has no business being the leader of a country.

The way the political parties line up in Canada, I am afraid he will stay in power as long as he wants to. He does not enjoy a majority of the seats in parliament so, technically, he should not have been prime minister for these past years. But he has negotiated with other left wing parties to secure their support in parliament. Therefore, he wins, his Liberal party wins, the New Democratic Party wins. The only losers are the people of Canada. But they likely do not realize their plight because the national media in Canada is just like the national media in America and is supporting the current regime through partisan reporting.
