The Bride Is Not Ready: Why We Must Let Go :: By Camilla Smith

Andy C

Well-known
Recently, I wrote an article entitled “The Simple Truth—the 144,000” that was posted here on Rapture Ready. There is much more to share on this topic, but I feel that there is something more urgent that the Father is impressing on me, yet it does pertain in an important way to the 144,000.

The simple truth of today’s article is “The Bride is NOT Ready.” The Father is leading me to keep this very short and concise, so I am going to state it simply with just two examples that lead me to this conclusion:

Worry about lost (or wayward) loved ones and family left behind.
Flat-out not ready to leave.
Regarding #2–I attended a memorial service this weekend, and the pastor said, “As our friends and loved ones begin to go to Heaven, we can feel that “magnet” of Heaven pulling us a little harder.” It is a good thing the auditorium was dark because I’m sure I turned a couple shades of green. That, sadly, is the thinking of pretty much everyone I know and love. It seems most are just biding their time! There is no true desire to be with our King. “Oh, I’m going to retire next year, then in 20 years after that, Yahshua can come.” I’ve literally heard people say those very words. The Bride is not ready. And if we’re not ready to be with our Master until our loved ones have gone ahead of us… I don’t even know what to say. OH, Abba, FORGIVE US!!

Regarding #1—while it is completely normal and human to be concerned about our loved ones who aren’t walking on the Narrow Path, it is time we let them go.

Here is Truth–The Father wants us to come to an understanding of the magnitude of the job of the 144,000 (among others) during the Tribulation. To quote my beloved spiritual brother Tom Blackmon, whom I wrote about in the last article:

“YHWH being YHWH will accomplish ALL His salvations this side of the Rapture or during the Tribulation.”

She makes some good points and I especially appreciate what she said about letting our family members go. I disagree with the point that we could be delaying His coming. We are already “ready” because Jesus makes us “ready” despite our flesh getting in the way.
Agree, Father God decides when hes's ready ,most likely when he feels that the fullness of gentiles has reached the number that he wants

I find it ludicrous that we could delay God on anything He has set His will on. Like in the regard that we could assert some type of will or perform an action that would stay God's own might and timing of the last things in particular. And no, I don't think it's at all like Abraham and God or offering up prayers for particular results. But the delay aspect is a bit too lost in the sauce, overestimating your capabilities type stuff. Plus, I have my wedding dress on. I'm ready. Believe me. I mean, what. Bye.

I don't think that she paints well with a brush this wide.
She seems to zoom in on the situation in the US, but the world is bigger.
In Asia and Africa many, many, come to Christ.
So, who's not ready?
And then those big words, "the Father impressed on me".
I don't know this lady, but that sounds extra-Biblical.
Like stated above: God will decide the timing.

I think the main reason she can say these things is because of the situation here in the United States... The devil has a lot of Christians under his spell, especially in the Evangelical Church. In their eyes they are living good enough, perhaps even their "best life now." The only reason they would "not be ready" is because they have no idea what is in store and how great it will be compared to this dusty old broken planet! This is directly because of their lack of Bible knowledge.

Even so, times are going to get worse, more may start turning to the scriptures instead of looking at the man behind the pulpit.

I've traveled the world and stayed in some foreign (to me) places for a good while. I usually notice right away when someone who has written an article hasn't yet been out of their own backyard for any meaningful amount of time.

One of those moments I'm split between the laugh icon and the 100%! Nice picture you left us all with Eric! But yes, God is in charge of the timing, we are not. That comes perilously close to works, where we add our bit to what belongs to God.

As said here by @Spartan Sprinter and below with @Andiamo Jesus makes us ready and it's when the Father says it's time, and Paul says that is related to the fullness of the gentiles.

I 100% agree about the bit of letting family members go. Not to speed up the Rapture, it has no effect on that, but for my peace of mind here and now.

I pray over G's and my unsaved loved ones as always. Fervently. But it's like my dad who I'm pretty sure is in hell right now. His choice. I don't like it, but in the end, we do what we can to witness to them, love them, pray for them but in the end it's their choice. God gave them (and us) free will. I don't like the idea that they might die unsaved in the Tribulation after missing the Rapture, but it's their choice. I was wrestling with that last night. Praying over a beloved niece, but she shows signs of not wanting to hear more right now. So the only open door I have with her or the others is thru prayer. God will open the door if they are ready.

My red flags go up regarding anyone saying God impressed on me (too close to thus says the Lord). I know we've often said something of that nature when it comes to personal repentance or direction, and having God impress those on a person via the Holy Spirit is normal.

Where it goes beyond is when she feels impressed by God as she says, to teach something. In that case she is now moving into the office of prophet or teacher and that means we need to examine what she is saying very closely if we are to follow the Bereans.

Also her assumption that those of us who lost loved ones with the Lord desire the Rapture any more or less because of their presence with the Lord. Perhaps she's met a lot who are like that. I didn't desire the Rapture less before George died, nor do I desire it more now. My comfort is that he is with the Lord and I will join him at some point. Right now his ashes reside in the cabinets in his office that I was decluttering yesterday. I'm sure if he was here he'd be having a conniption. As it is, his spirit is with the Lord, and if I hear his ashes start to shake, rattle and roll, I'm looking up because my early warning Rapture kit (George's ashes) is going first.

Another thing I don't get is why she thinks that God the Father wants us to come to some special understanding of the 144,000 during the Trib and that apparently is the reason she is writing. I'll have to go have a look at whatever else she is thinking about the 144,000. She might be perfectly fine but that's another red flag.

It's an interesting article. Glad you posted it, great discussion.

Yup she's a little weird. Here is the link to the previous article she wrote on the 144,000 a few days before she published the one above. The Simple Truth—The 144,000 :: By Camilla Smith

I'll give an excerpt here:
"The Truth of the Identity of the 144,000 was revealed to my dear friend and spiritual mentor, Tom Blackmon, back in the 1980s. He held onto it, studied it, talked to the Father endlessly about it, and he received much revelation about it through the indwelling Ruach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) over a period of many years. Tom is Home with His King now, and I’m writing this simple Truth in article form, prompted by the Father’s Spirit, because of the great, great deal of confusion that I have seen recently about this topic. I believe this to be 100% Truth, according to the Father’s Word.

I urge you to pray first, ask the Father to reveal His Truth, and read this testimony of Tom’s with no preconceived notions. I’ll begin with a quote from Tom that is most appropriate for this revelation.

It goes to show that it can be, and always has been right before our eyes, but does not come to Light until Yahshua reveals it.” –Tom Blackmon, March 2017

Tom was given much in-depth detail as to who these “sealed singers,” as he liked to call them, are. Tom was a talented musician, a devoted student of the Father’s Word, and a man with a deep, unwavering love for the Jewish people and for our King, Jesus the Christ–Yahshua ha’Mashiach. One of the most spiritual men I’ve ever known, the Father gave Tom numerous “Mind-to-mind” details of the 144,000 over a period of many years. I’m going to try, with the Father’s help, to keep it as simple as I can, using mostly emails that Tom sent me over the 10+ years I had the privilege of knowing him.
"

She goes on to conclude this:
"Then to have an additional understanding that many of the 144,000 will come from all eras of the church history—that part of the 144,000 are indeed the dead in Messiah Yahshua!!"

all based on her assumption that the angel ascending with the seal to seal them means that they are part of the church age Jewish believers, who have died and will come back to life in the Tribulation (which then begs the question why do they need sealing???? because by then the dead in Christ have received their permanent glorified bodies)

I don't know who Tom Blackmon was or what he taught but this is definitely moving into the private interpretation mode (2 Peter 1:20) as far as I'm concerned.

I suspect from the abundant use of Hebrew terms that she might be affected by the Hebrew Roots movement or the related group that I forget the name of right now. Reminds me a LOT of what they teach. In this previous article she relies heavily on what Tom heard from God that goes beyond the plain words of Scripture that she claims God confirmed to her.

My rule is that if it's not in Scripture, it's not God's Word. It might be a wonderful teaching but if it's trying to teach the Word of God it is essential that it DOESN'T go beyond the Word. That goes double for any private interpretation that isn't backed up by other scripture.

2 Peter 1:16-21 My emphasis:

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Chapter 2 goes on to warn of false teachers. The context is Peter's life is soon to end. He's explaining what will surely come next when he as an eyewitness of the Lord at his baptism and transfiguration is dead. False teachers will introduce doubts, strange teachings and going back to v 20 it will start with private interpretation.

So Peter explains that being an eyewitness of Christ's glory and majesty CONFIRMED the prophetic word. And then he brings his first principle here in v 20 that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation. Prophecy doesn't come from the will of man, but of the Holy Spirit. The fact he goes into chapter 2 warning of false teachers is important for context of this verse.

Bottom line, be careful of this one.

I don't know any Christians, who are not expecting, yearning for, and eagerly awaiting Jesus' imminent return (whether Rapture or Second Coming, depending on eschatological viewpoint). The key words being expecting and imminency

I'd include yearning, except there are some, who would like their children and grandchildren to have the opportunity for a full-length Earthly life, and some, who would like to see family or friends get saved before the Rapture so they avoid the Tribulation.

Me, I'm ready NOW. Everyone I personally care about is saved, or has at least heard/read The Gospel, even if it was as a child. Everyone, who was at Dad's funeral heard and read The Gospel over and over and over and over and over . . . and if they sang the hymns and/or said the Apostle's Creed, they proclaimed The Gospel, as well :) I recently watched/listened to Dad's funeral again. It's even more perfect now than it was then :) So happy it's online, so lost people, who were there, can go back and watch/listen, and people left behind can benefit :) and so saved family and friends can just go back and enjoy :) Thanks and God's blessings to God's workers (Pastors, organists, tech people, volunteers, Bible and hymnal printers, etc.,etc., etc.) <3

Excellent verses that I have not thought about in a while. Very important to remember in these last days that are full of apostate teachings.
