A question I have is why did the Secret Service take so long to take down the shooter?
That shooter must have been on that roof for enough time to position himself and take aim at his target.
Why did Secret Service wait until after the shooter began shooting to take him out? If they saw the shooter had a rifle on him, standing on the roof across from where Trump was speaking, Secret Service being at close proximity to the shooter should have taken action as soon as that sniper was seen.
This was not a typical shooting but an obvious assassination attempt on a former President and it's the Secret Service job to prevent harm against the ones they are protecting.
How many 20 year olds really follow politics?
IMO, simply a deranged man, wanting mass attention through violence.

Secret Service Director Who Previously Worked at Pepsi Faces Calls to Resign After Attempted Assassination of Trump
Cheatle, who previously worked as the senior director in Global Security for PepsiCo, has been the current director of the U.S. Secret Service since September 2022, according to the agency’s website. While working at PepsiCo, Cheatle reportedly was “responsible for directing and implementing security protocols for the company’s facilities in North America.”
A witness told BBC News that he had seen a man with a rifle “bear-crawling” on top of the roof of a building close to the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“I’m thinking to myself ‘Why is Trump still speaking, why have they not pulled him off the stage’… the next thing you know, five shots ring out,” the man told the outlet.
Minutes after taking the stage at the rally, gunshots rang out and Secret Service agents could be seen crowding around Trump, who was later seen with blood on his ear and the side of his face.
After being ushered away by the Secret Service, the former president later revealed that he had been “shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part” of his right ear.
Several people have pointed out the security failings for a sniper to have come that close to being able to shoot Trump, and have criticized Cheatle.

It's deeply troubling that the SS may be so compromised that they are not honestly protecting Pres. Trump.
There will be investigations, and I think we need to pray that they will truly be independent.
I keep telling myself to stop pulling loose threads of clues together because it's only going to frustrate me further. There's a lot of buzz on X with folks taking sides on the SS, and I follow a former FBI guy, whistle blower, who was praising the speed of the SS sniper -- weird. He went into detail about the timing of the shots and how the sound each made could help determine what gun it was & who was shooting. Well, that's waaayyy out of my knowledge so I realized I don't know enough technicalities to speculate.
God will reveal what we need to know, and maybe this suspicion is a good thing to stir me up and pray for real protection.

One thing we need to consider about young adults and politics. It's well known that the schools have been indoctrinating students for some time to lean to the left and Marxism. Students are being taught in the schools that conservatism is bad, and to hate America blaming "colonialism for America being racist. The teachings in the schools have groomed the students to have political bias without stating politics in the indoctrinating.
I've seen this in my granddaughter. She was raised in the church and when she went to college she became a different person in her beliefs because of what was taught in college.
Our young people have had their minds poisoned with hate for what is good.
Not saying Trump is good, but what he represents, his Make America Great Again, and standing by The Constitution, that alone makes him a target of hate for those who aspire to change what America has stood for since it's founding

The guy in the video is alive and well. Misinformation is insane on this already. He deleted his account after telling everyone he's fine after President Trump was shot, and the word is that he's looking into defamation lawsuits against those saying it's him.

ABC News, citing multiple law enforcement sources, reported that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives conducted an urgent trace and found the suspect's father legally purchased the gun recovered at the scene.
The Secret Service and FBI are speaking with the suspect's family, the FBI has secured his home, and federal law enforcement is searching it, CBS News said, citing a law enforcement official. CNN, citing multiple law enforcement sources, reported that the suspect had explosive material inside his car and residence.
"We do not currently have an identified motive," Kevin Rojek, FBI Pittsburgh special agent in charge, said at a briefing late Saturday night, according to CBS News.
The FBI's statement on Crooks also said "this remains an active and ongoing investigation, and anyone with information that may assist with the investigation is encouraged to submit photos or videos online at FBI.gov/butler or call 1-800-CALL-FBI."
