Shots Fired At Trump Rally

Those secret service and the police snipers are so cool. Especially the females 😎
I am no longer impressed. I saw that female SS agent drawing and returning her gun to the holster no better than I would. Also found out the SS director was hired by Biden and made sure there were a certain number of women in there, though obviously less qualified.
The director is actually blaming the slight slope of the roof as being unsafe for her apparently doughy out of shape agents.
It is Pathetic that this amount of incompetence could actually make it seem like it was an inside job because it’s all so STUPID, but I’m actually wondering if this is the case now!!!

I read that while the excuse was that the roof had that slope and was why SS didn't get on the roof, across the street there was the same slope yet there were SS up there. That SS was just making excuses and likely just wasn't qualified to be an SS because of DEI hire.

Why was Trump depending on SS and local law enforcement alone, without his own personal security? At the very least, to double check everything and maybe secure the outside perimeters. Knowing these were Biden hires I would figure there would be a few trannies in there even. Wouldn’t make me feel safe.
NOT blaming the man, just concerned and I hope that he isn’t this trusting in the future.
But I’ve got to say, this always seems to be his downfall. The lack of wisdom (because he does not have the Holy Spirit) regarding those who he surrounds himself with and trusts.

Go back and look at the photos or video of the buildings. I have built plenty of buildings. I’ve built both wood framed and metal buildings. I’ve built roofs with pitches from 3/12 up to 12/12 slopes.

The building the shooter was on appeared to have less pitch, rise, or slope, (terms you use to describe how steep a roof is), than the building the SS snipers were actually set up on.

The building the shooter was on appeared to be no more than a 3/12 pitch, while the building the SS snipers were on appeared to be somewhere between 4-6/12 pitch.

That lie or excuse is pathetic. Metal roofs are more slippery by nature. The roof the shooter was on was 5 times easier to walk on than the roof the SS sniper’s were on.

When you see the video of all the officers surrounding the deceased shooter, none of them appeared to have any trouble walking or standing on that roof.

There are different types of boots and shoes that can be worn to walk on roofs of various types. All of this would be known by any competent security detail.

The smell of this whole SS operation stinks, something is totally rotten at the core of it. Everyone in charge of it should be fired.

Thomas Crooks' parents 'called the cops on the day of the Trump rally shooting

Crooks' parents called law enforcement in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, to say they were concerned about their son's whereabouts, Fox News reported.

He climbed onto a roof and shot Trump and killed retired volunteer fire chief Corey Comperatore at the rally in Butler, 50 miles from his home.

Crooks told his boss that he needed the day off from work on Saturday and gave colleagues a final chilling message: That he would be back on Sunday.

Wow! If the substance of the above account is true, then we are faced with only two possibilities. The first is stunning incompetence on the part of the secret service and the police assigned to this event. The second is unthinkable. My reaction to the local sheriff who defended his officer who saw the shooter on the roof with the rifle but ducked down and didn't re-engage the shooter is that this sheriff and his officer are of the same caliber as the police officers who in May 2022 hunkered down outside the Uvalde school classroom for over an hour while the gunman inside killed 19 students and two teachers. Shameful.

""Update on Shooter:

Crooks’ Impossible Path to the Roof at Butler, PA Rally

What does not make sense is how a 20-year-old nursing home food attendant managed to find one spot with a direct line of sight to President Trump and how Thomas Crooks managed to know of all the ongoing security lapses and failures that day, including the reassignment of the Secret Service to Jill Biden, who had a function in Pittsburgh the same day.

Another part of the story that makes no sense is that 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, who lived an hour away before he went to the rally, knew that he would need a ladder in order to scale the walls and take a shot at President Trump. According to federal authorities, Crooks stopped at Home Depot on his way to the rally in his hometown of Bethel Park and bought a 5-foot ladder.

Initially, the pictures leaking out from the rally’s aftermath showed a ladder that was in place near where Crooks’ body was found, on top of the American Glass Research manufacturing company warehouse near the Butler Farm Show Airport.

I was talking to an acquaintance of mine who served in the military in combat and then spent many years as an Illinois state trooper. He has a number of contacts throughout the Leo world. He told me that the police officer who tried to get up on the roof had no ladder. In order to check who is on the roof, he was boosted by another officer. When the shooter turned and pointed his rifle at him he quickly ducked down below the roof line, but the sudden act of ducking down caused the officer holding him to drop him, injuring him when he hit the ground. Apparently it was during the immediate moments of confusion with the injured officer on the ground that the shooter managed to fire off his four or five shots. This apparently being the case, I respectfully remove my criticism of the police officer. Based on my friend's account, it was not his fault. But everything else I have heard stinks to high heaven.

Kim Cheatle, the former senior director of global security at Pepsi and the current director of our nation’s Secret Service, is taking the near-assassinationof Donald Trump on her watch very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that she sat down for a chat Monday with ABC News’s Pierre Thomas.

Cheatle owes her current role largely to the relationship she developed with First Lady Jill Biden during her eight years as second lady in the Obama administration. Perhaps that experience guided her determination that the attempted assassination was “unacceptable” and that “it’s something that shouldn’t happen again.”

Whew. What a relief it is for Trump supporters to hear that it “shouldn’t happen again.” And by that, we assume she means that a guy with a semiautomatic rifle and a rangefinder shouldn’t be able to set up shop on a rooftop just 130 yards from a former president and just start firing away.

The more information that comes out, the more obvious it seems that the shooter was allowed to do what he did by a combination of DEI hires placed on the security team and bad actors within the security apparatus. Aside from the dead shooter, there are many who are like guilty of accessory to murder and attempted murder.

It's just not how you dominate a space at a basic, much less elite level, which is where that sec detail is supposed to be. Nothing about any of it looked or played out at the elite level. There were some iconic photos, but beyond that, it was a massive hideous failure, if not outright a co-conspirator hitjob on Trump. I'm not one that drinks from the conspiracy goblet often, and when I do, it's usually for fun. But this is too obvious.

The more I watch the video after I got over the initial crazy of it all and analytical mode turned on, it's just beyond the pale. I definitely believe in government incompetence, but this is galaxy next level. That perimeter was just way too small. That building and especially that building should have been locked down head to tippy toe because it's high ground. You always without fail dominate high ground. It doesn't pass the smell test. No way. Not buying any of it.

So I was wondering what happened to the ladder and how the shooter got up. One news story said a cop stood on another cops shoulders to look on the roof because there was no ladder. When he peaked up there the shooter pointed the gun at him and he fell and got injured, thats why he didn't engage. Another article said the shooter bought 50 rounds of ammo and a '5 foot ladder' to use. If so 5 foot doesnt seem big enough so how did he get up there? With a disappearing ladder nonetheless. Doesn't add up...

That building and especially that building should have been locked down head to tippy toe because it's high ground.

When you see an overhead image of the area, it's a no-brainer even for a relatively low IQ person to make the position the shooter took unavailable...

I truly doubt the kid did this without some assistance from a bad actor feeding him on both the idea and how to do it.

Jerk on MSNBC was claiming Trump’s ear bandage was “a spectacle” 😡 (commentary on bandage starts at two minute mark)

(Sorry, was going to edit this but I’m not. He is a total jerk for saying that. )

I still wonder how many in the crowd saw him and shouted out he had a gun and nobody from the SS saw him and didn't care to look and check it out with all the commotion the crowd was making? Makes no sense to me.
