Listening just now to Dr Andy Woods- and he had something very important that he repeated several times.
IF VIOLENCE BREAKS OUT and they knew that if Trump was killed, or if Trump survived, there was a strong likelihood that Jan 6 would happen all over again- they did it successfully then- inciting violence no matter how moderate the "violence" then using it as a pretext to go in and stop the Trump supporters!
As I was saying -IF VIOLENCE BREAKS OUT
Then that gives the current govt legal grounds to invoke the FEMA act which then means that they can suspend constitutional rights AND elections.
Andy was first trained as a lawyer.
I've been wondering about such an attempt but didn't know the US laws regarding what in Canada are called the "War Measures Act" which suspend all kinds of things in Canada. Trudeau's dad did it in 1970 and it's a miracle we got the country back because he could have gone all Castro Cuba on us then.
So if I'm understanding Andy correctly the FEMA act is your equivalent and all they want now is violence of any sort from the "right" which would of course include people they've trained to do just that.
Andy is making it crystal clear that as Christians we need to pray for our leaders (even the ones we detest) and to not give them the violent actions that they are so desperately hoping for.
Because if that happens, and FEMA is invoked,
Constitutional rights are suspended (much like how the Jan 6 protesters are rotting in jail without an open trial)
AND
THE ELECTION IS SUSPENDED.
Sadly it looks like this was planned both ways: if they succeeded in assassination of Trump they knew it wouldn't be accepted so they could invoke FEMA in the wake of grief and anger.
AND
If by God's grace they didn't succeed (and Andy points out it looks like his head moved at just the right moment) then they still get to invoke FEMA if they can provoke a wave of anger from whatever they can call the right wing even if it's paid actors and crazy people instructed to do stuff for free drugs or the like.

I think the bullet went through his ear, not by his ear. Maybe one of the other bullets went by his ear. Is Trump's ear drum busted? I think this person's prophetic credentials are a little shaky.
July the 8th Biden did when he said something about putting a bullseye on Trump. In context he was calling for a political 'bullseye" or so it seems but that kind of rhetoric has been going on since Trump was elected in his first term. That female comic Kathy Griffin for example that held a mock bleeding head of Trump seemingly decapitated in his first few weeks of office was an example of how Hollywood has gone all out. At the time the backlash got her career blacklisted, but she had lots of support from her peers. And then hearing such calls from the View at various times.
It's all deniable because they will claim it's political rhetoric, or comedy or satire or whatever but it's been "ok" to make those kinds of remarks for a while. Which makes it all the more likely that some nutbar would try it on for size. With or without coaching/drugs/assistance.
Biden's administration refused extra Security service detail when Trump and his team have been begging for it for some time. That's come out in several reports now. I think it's upthread here too.
It looks like the security detail neglected that nearby rooftop and I don't know how that sort of thing gets neglected unless it is on purpose.
Pretty hard for them to argue that they don't want such things to happen to Trump when it looks like they've purposely shorted Trumps Security detail (on top of calls to eliminate Security for former presidents) AND allowed a shooter access to a nearby rooftop.
Other reports claim that bystanders saw the young man, reported him to police and the secret service and were brushed off.
Either this was the biggest security goof up of all time or it was planned.

Anyone with common sense saw the assasination attempt of Trump as a desperation tactic by the left.
Heaps of people on this forum have even made mention of this as a possibility, to give this guy the time of day or a spotlight is just hurting the body of Christ

Wallace, lynchings/murders of civil rights activists by police under color of law, etc. upset people and created fear and division in the 1960s and 1968 and 1972 Presidential campaigns. I remember seeing the police line separating thousands of people outside the Democratic Presidential Convention in Chicago. It's amazing all the police weren't crushed and killed.
Without strong Church leadership and moral, ethical leaders, our country could have disintegrated back then.
I think now, it's up to The Church. The Church needs to be unified in praying for our country, regardless of denominational differences. No church or denomination is perfect, and there will be Christians from myriad churches, denominations, traditions, etc. in Heaven in The Church Triumphant.

If Constitutional rights are suspended, that works both ways. We the people are no longer protected. But...neither are the government.
The left wants to play games with our rights because they are in power now. You, the left, have power only because the people have delegated certain right to you.
We can take them back. Meaning your, liberal leftist democrats, 'suspension of the election' means nothing. Other than it shows how evil and one sided you are.

99% of these modern day prophets are wrong. That’s how I know they are not biblical prophets. I can make 100 predictions in a day, like most of these so called prophets or clairvoyants and if one or two of them become remotely true, then label myself a prophet.
I have a niece that has been seduced by a modern day cult, they claim they are prophets and prophetess, and are always throwing out these so called prophecies. When they get close on something they claim, so we told you so, etc…
The Bible tells me how to test these prophets, if 100% of their prophecies come true then they are a prophet. Even the wannabes that claim Nostradamus was a legitimate prophet, yet he was wrong just as much as he was right.
I’ll stick with the prophets that are declared in my Bible along with the teachings of Jesus, they have been correct 100% of the time.

What? Several of those were not assassination attempts. They were assassinations.
The Church is not going to change the world. The Church does not make bad nations good. Where do you get that idea?
As for America, she has left her moorings. She has left Christianity and God.
America was established by war. European Christians were willing to fight and defend themselves in this heathern land. And God blessed their efforts and sacrifice.
Christians are becoming fewer now in this country. And many who are Christian are convinced they aren't supposed to do anything. Which makes me ask the question, if our Christian forefathers thought like that....where would we be?

The church is supposed to lead and influence society, not follow and be changed by society.
The Church is supposed to reflect God's Word, which it truth and unchanging. There are still Bible-believing, preaching, teaching churches in the United States.
There are still a good many Christians in the United States.
I know thousands of them. They are in a variety of denominations/churches. Not all believe exactly alike, but all believe the core tenets of the Christian faith, as expounded in the Apostle's Creed, which reflects the Bible.
Not all are called to physical, military war. Some are called to other roles. Just as not all are called to be Pastors, Teachers, Elders, organists, choir members, prayer warriors, visiting the sick and home-bound, Altar Guild, building and grounds, technology, webmasters, Parents, artists, brick layers, carpenters, plumbers, secretaries, nurses, radiologists, police, fire fighters, funeral directors, janitors, fast-food workers, business executives, scientists, window washers, mechanics, factory workers, hair stylists, barbers, phlebotomists, librarians, bakers, engineers, etc.
I am thankful that many of the people, who settled the Americas were Christians, often fleeing persecution, and willing to take up arms as needed. Many of my ancestors, included.
I have not given up on my country, and I never will. Until God calls me home, I will continue to do my best, with The Holy Ghost's help, to love God with all my heart and soul and strength, love my neighbor as myself, and do what I am called to do in carrying out The Great Commission.
