Shooting at Minneapolis Catholic school confirmed by authorities; 20 victims reported

A shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Wednesday has left at least 20 people injured, according to police.

Now that the shooter's name has been released we now need the motive. Guns were more available back in the 1970's than they are today. We would go duck hunting before school and have our guns in the trunk. Our parents didn't need to lock up their guns. It's not guns; there's two main things that have changed, one is the liberal teachers of today, and the other is social media. We didn't have that when I went to school and I can see how it would drive some to violence. Someone called you a homo back then who would know, just a few. Now 1000's see everything everyone does. What's the answer, I don't know?

Annunciation Catholic School and Annunciation Church are co-located in a nice, generally safe, area, not far from where I grew up.
More information as it comes out. The Pope, President Trump, and others have commented.

The shooter is a graduate of Annunciation, and his mother worked there.
He shot through the stained glass windows at the people in the Church Sanctuary.


Already, the censoring and scrubbing has started in the name of "the investigation." Local CBS station has said on-air they've blurred out and taken down some of their video and images. The press here is calling this "evil."

"Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey preached about trans rights during a presser on the mass shooting that left two children dead at Annunciation Catholic School, hours after it was revealed gunman Robin Westman identified as a transgender woman.
“I have heard about a whole lot of hate that’s being directed at our trans community,” Frey told reporters at an update presser Wednesday afternoon.
“Anybody who is using this … as an opportunity to villainize our trans community, or any other community out there, has lost their sense of common humanity. We should not be operating out of a place of hate for anyone,” the mayor said."
Frey stated emotionally that instead of the shooter’s gender-identity and state of mind, public focus should be put on the child victims —- and then he segued into calls for gun control."

There is something about the trans issue that promotes violence. Either the mental illness, or maybe medication (which is my thought). But they will most likely seal the medical records so we can never know (like they did in Nashville). There must be an honest conversation about why this keeps happening with the trans people. Our children are at stake. I can't help but think the left will sacrifice kids to protect the trans community and that is evil.

There is also the increase in people taking psychiatric drugs that may be associated with an elevated risk of violence in some individuals.
