God sent forth his Son โ๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ช๐ก๐ก๐ฃ๐๐จ๐จ ๐ค๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ข๐.โ (Galatians 4:4)
The โfullness of time" (Greek ๐ฑ๐ญฤ๐ณล๐ฎ๐ข) implies ๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ, ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป-๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐บ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐, describing a pivotal event ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ. It conveys a sense of culmination and inevitability. The closest English word to describe plฤrลma is our word โpregnantโ.

The Father was not passively marking timeโฆas though He had a calendar with a date circled in red, just waiting for the day He would send His Son into the world. Rather, He had been arranging โ over thousands of years โ every necessary โwho, when, whatโ โ to bring everything together for Christโs first coming, fulfilling over 300 prophesies.

We who have within us the very life of the Son of God โ we are the objects of our Fatherโs great solicitude and care. Our lives are completely bound up โ intricately woven and interconnected โ into His greater redemptive plan for the ages. This is always true no matter how difficult, unexpected, or even random some events of our lives may seem to us. This includes detours, seasons, wildernesses and valleys. (Psalm 139:16; Romans 8:28; 11:36; Ephesians 1:9-10)
Behind the scenes of our lives our Most High God is opening doors that no man can shut, and shutting doors that no man can open. He who puts rulers on thrones and removes them is also raising up people to intersect our lives at just the right time. (Revelation 3:7; Daniel 2:21)
Yes, all the while we pray. Yes, we respond to God and have a role to play. But how it all synchronizes and works together โฆ that is knowledge that is โtoo wonderfulโ, โtoo highโ for us. Itโs simply beyond our human understanding. (Psalm 139:1-6,16; Romans 11:34-36) SELAH.
But we can know the comfort and assurance it brings โ that beyond our immediate understanding โ we can trust the magnificent ways of our Lord, our divine orchestrator, that He will bring to us all we need, when we need it.
