More 'No Kings' Protests Are Planned Nationwide on June 14: What to Know

More "No Kings" protests are planned across the country on June 14, the latest anti-Trump protest organized amid his second term in office.

What Are the 'No Kings' Protests?

The "No Kings" protests are a "nationwide day of defiance" to "reject authoritarianism," according to the event's organizers. Dozens of grassroots groups are organizing the nationwide protests.

When And Where Are the 'No Kings' Protests?

There are hundreds of "No Kings" protests scheduled for June 14 in every single state, from Florida to Alaska, and even a few planned for outside the U.S.

We had one in our small downtown and it looked like only a couple hundred were there and a handful of counter protesters.

I still don’t get it. What on earth is Trump doing that would make people accuse him of being a “king?” I do know the media started using that word right away the second he got re-elected.

If it’s executive actions, well, blame Obama for starting that mess, if I remember correctly. “Power of the pen!”

It seems that for the most part these so-called No Kings rallies were big busts throughout most of America.
It seems to me that most aren't even sure why they are protesting except that they hate our president or simply love to protest anything. Likely many are under the impression that the parade and celebration were created simply to celebrate the president's birthday. The actual date of the birthday of the US army is June 14, 1775 and was the date the Continental Congress declared the army created.

The king thing is just propaganda fed to the brainwashed. Our enemies always spew the opposite of the truth.

Well said. I think it is not suppose to make sense to you because you are using common sense. That is not how the left operate. They highlight Trump as a dictator out of jealousy and survival. They need us to think Trump wants to be ena emporer because in their minds they should be. But no one would vote for that.

Looking at deeper history on this issue. It was the left not the right that birthed the KKK. It was the left not the right that birthed Hilter (socialist party). Yet we tend to think of the far right as Nazi and KKK. Pretty good slight of hand historically I would say. Fascism is Socialism with a Human Face. The way I get there Is that one time decades ago a took an online quiz to see what I would be considered politically. It had me somewhere on the spectrum with Ghandi and Stalon lol. Whatever.

But what was helpful to me in the way the quiz asked the questions was that I found myself answering quiz questions from an entirely different disposition seemingly than how they wanted to pigeon hole my answers. It was not until later that I realized I don't share the common political spectrum we usually thing of. Created by whom I am not sure. But it looks like this:

On the far left is Comunism/Socialism

On the far right is Monarch

To me, I don't process like that. In this sense I am more a libertarian I reckon.

I would see the far left is Comunism, Socialism, Fascism, and Monarchy (giving the state max power--regardless of 1 or many people--regardless of the form of control).

I would view the far right as anarchy. No rule. Mad max.

For what it is worthy, to view the political spectrum in this libertarian way, it might help encompass themes by which to view how the left pigeon holes Trump as a dictator. It's based, to me, on faulty logic of political spectrum. But even more than that, it is the sincerest form of hypocrasy. And jealousy. The people love Trump. They want the people to love them. Because they have the rightful place of being {g)ods. And America is just too stupid to know what is good for them. Trump is not good for them. Because they want the levers of power. It is what is best for us. I believe it is unfortunately that simple. In my estimation. Blessings.

The no kings stupidity is a big push to whip the frenzy into their mid term voting and keep the pressure on Trump and those involved to make a big mistake and kill civilians or otherwise. Being stupid is not illegal but being criminal and being a dark money contributor and being a rioting scumbag is.

You just know people or groups with lots of money and resources are organizing and funding these stupid ideas. You know how hard it is to organize a local event, let alone a national one to occur at the same time?

It’s not an accident that pockets of people all share the same slogan, and have a specific date set. Just too organized for it to be random by random local citizens.

And, the common thread in all types of political views is that they are all subject to satanic forces :apost:
Well said Hol. I remember something said at my previous reformed church. "The devil does not have to be everywhere scrambling. All he needs are those most powerful to twist rules and manipulate concept for the masses.
