We had one in our small downtown and it looked like only a couple hundred were there and a handful of counter protesters.
I still don’t get it. What on earth is Trump doing that would make people accuse him of being a “king?” I do know the media started using that word right away the second he got re-elected.
If it’s executive actions, well, blame Obama for starting that mess, if I remember correctly. “Power of the pen!”
Well said. I think it is not suppose to make sense to you because you are using common sense. That is not how the left operate. They highlight Trump as a dictator out of jealousy and survival. They need us to think Trump wants to be ena emporer because in their minds they should be. But no one would vote for that.
Looking at deeper history on this issue. It was the left not the right that birthed the KKK. It was the left not the right that birthed Hilter (socialist party). Yet we tend to think of the far right as Nazi and KKK. Pretty good slight of hand historically I would say. Fascism is Socialism with a Human Face. The way I get there Is that one time decades ago a took an online quiz to see what I would be considered politically. It had me somewhere on the spectrum with Ghandi and Stalon lol. Whatever.
But what was helpful to me in the way the quiz asked the questions was that I found myself answering quiz questions from an entirely different disposition seemingly than how they wanted to pigeon hole my answers. It was not until later that I realized I don't share the common political spectrum we usually thing of. Created by whom I am not sure. But it looks like this:
On the far left is Comunism/Socialism
On the far right is Monarch
To me, I don't process like that. In this sense I am more a libertarian I reckon.
I would see the far left is Comunism, Socialism, Fascism, and Monarchy (giving the state max power--regardless of 1 or many people--regardless of the form of control).
I would view the far right as anarchy. No rule. Mad max.
For what it is worthy, to view the political spectrum in this libertarian way, it might help encompass themes by which to view how the left pigeon holes Trump as a dictator. It's based, to me, on faulty logic of political spectrum. But even more than that, it is the sincerest form of hypocrasy. And jealousy. The people love Trump. They want the people to love them. Because they have the rightful place of being {g)ods. And America is just too stupid to know what is good for them. Trump is not good for them. Because they want the levers of power. It is what is best for us. I believe it is unfortunately that simple. In my estimation. Blessings.
