Minnesotans Fight ICE With Snowballs

I was told ICE visited WF recently, and they took away drivers. I hope this doesn't mean there'll be stocking, supply chain, etc. issues, etc.

I was also told another WF here was closed recently because the roads were blocked off due to protests. When I had originally thought the roads were closed because of ice (frozen water), I didn't know the WF at that location was closed. Wonder if ICE also visited that WF.

Originally hundreds of additional Federal agents, but locals here have found out it's actually over 2000 additional.

Somewhere, some Federal agency(ies) short-staffed. Would be nice of it were the IRS

NOTE: Federal agents from different agencies can be lent out to different agencies when the manpower is needed (basic agent training is the same, no matter where someone will be working).
Any chance these were some of those that should’ve never had a CDL?

Here's a partial list of the Minnesota criminals that have been arrested and their crimes as reported by Alexandra Koch, a Fox News Digital journalist. These are the people the citizens of Minnesota are risking their lives to protect. I think it's important to state no one cared when Obama had these types arrested and deported. Also, these criminals have been convicted in a court of law, and the courts have ordered the deportation of these criminals. The hatred of Trump is so high they would rather their children be raped and murdered just to prevent Trump from fulfilling a promise.

The Democrat party is the organization responsible for the opposition. They must be held accountable at the voting box. Republicans have got to make this a huge issue in upcoming elections.

Sriudorn Phaivan, a Laotian illegal immigrant, was convicted of strong-arm sodomy of a boy and strong-arm sodomy of a girl. Phaivan has had a deportation order since 2018.

Tou Vang, a Laotian illegal immigrant, was convicted of sexual assault and sodomy of a girl under the age of 13 and procuring a child for prostitution. Vang has had a deportation order since 2006.

Leftist Activist Admits Before Salt Lake City Council She RUNS “ICE Watch” — Claims Group Coordinates With Over 20,000 Migrants and Maintains Photo Database Targeting ICE Agents

A left-wing activist identifying herself only as “TJ” openly told the Salt Lake City Council that she runs a large-scale “ICE Watch” operation, a coordinated activist network that tracks federal immigration agents, collects photos, verifies tips, and shares real-time intelligence.

The shocking confession was delivered calmly and unapologetically.

According to her own words, TJ has been operating the network for nearly a full year, overseeing what amounts to a civilian surveillance and intelligence operation targeting federal law enforcement officers whose job it is to enforce U.S. immigration law.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Renee Nicole Good, the 37-year-old woman fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday, had “trained” to do “ICE Watch” and disrupt the agency’s operations.

The Minnesota ICE Watch group that Renee Good was part of has been exposed for sharing a “de-arrest primer” manual that teaches its members and supporters how to physically interfere with law enforcement during arrests.

Judge rules federal agents can't arrest or use pepper spray on peaceful protesters in Minneapolis

By Jacob Rosen Joe Walsh
Updated on: January 16, 2026 / 8:57 PM CST / CBS News

"A Minnesota federal judge put limits Friday on the tactics that federal law enforcement are permitted to use in their handling of the ongoing protests in Minneapolis over the Trump administration's surge of immigration resources to the city.
In an 83-page order, U.S. District Judge Katherine Menendez blocked federal agents who are deployed to Minnesota as part of the Trump administration's immigration operations from using pepper spray or nonlethal munitions on, or arresting, peaceful protesters.
The order also bars federal law enforcement from stopping or detaining drivers and passengers when there is "no reasonable articulable suspicion" that people driving near protests are forcibly interfering with law enforcement operations."

DOJ investigating Gov. Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey over alleged conspiracy to impede immigration agents

By Camilio Montoya-Galvez, Jennifer Jacobs, Sarah N. Lynch
Updated on: January 17, 2026 / 9:34 AM CST / CBS News

"The Justice Department is investigating Minnesota officials, including Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, over an alleged conspiracy to impede federal immigration agents, an extraordinary escalation in the Trump administration's clash with Democratic leaders there, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CBS News.
One of the sources, a U.S. official, said the investigation stems from statements that Walz and Frey have made about the thousands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and Border Patrol agents deployed to the Minneapolis region in recent weeks."

There's a lot wrong with America and rabid liberal judges are among the list. But, the rabid liberal citizenry are the ones that put these people into power.

The Federal Judges are nominated by the President and confirmed by Senate.

Every State-level (and lower) Judge in Minnesota can be voted out or recalled. Some are appointed when a vacancy occurs, but most have to run for election and re-election.

"Minneapolis — The Department of Justice said Sunday it is investigating a group of protesters in Minnesota who disrupted services at a church where a local official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement apparently serves as a pastor.

A livestreamed video posted on the Facebook page of Black Lives Matter Minnesota, one of the protest's organizers, shows a group of people interrupting services at the Cities Church in St. Paul by chanting "ICE out" and "Justice for Renee Good." The 37-year-old mother of three was fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis earlier this month amid a surge in federal immigration enforcement activities.

University of Minnesota making changes to support campus amid federal immigration enforcement

By Ubah Ali
January 19, 2026 / 10:55 PM CST / CBS Minnesota

"Thousands of students will return to Minnesota's largest university for the start of the spring semester on Tuesday.
With thousands of federal agents active in the state as part of Operation Metro Surge, the University of Minnesota says it's making changes to support students, faculty and staff.
University leadership says the adjustments are meant to prioritize access, safety and flexibility while maintaining a safe, inclusive and productive environment for all members of our community.
The latest guidance came out on Thursday.
The university says students will have the option to attend some classes virtually, depending on their courses, and guidance on that will come from their deans' offices.
Building access is also tightening. Nearly all buildings will require badge access, which means carrying a U Card is imperative."

"A Minneapolis man is free — again — after he was re-arrested by ICE just a day after a judge ordered his release.
A federal judge says immigration agents’ actions were illegal when they busted open a Minneapolis family’s door on Sunday and detained Garrison Gibson.
5 EYEWITNESS NEWS previously reported on Gibson’s arrest, which raised questions about the kind of warrants that federal agents need.
On Sunday morning, Gibson’s family says federal agents presented them with a warrant signed by an immigration officer, not a judge.
Immigration attorneys confirmed to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents need a judicial warrant to enter a home.

Know Your Rights: Warrants

"A judicial warrant is issued by a court and signed by a judge (but not an immigration judge) or a magistrate. A magistrate is a court official who has some of the same powers as a judge (but not all of them). A judicial warrant lets law enforcement arrest somebody, take something, or search for something or someone."

"An administrative or immigration warrant is a document issued by a federal agency, like Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or Customs and Border Protection (CBP). These warrants are signed by an immigration officer or another federal officer. An administrative warrant does not allow officers to enter private places like a house, but it can allow them to arrest someone in public or in private (if allowed to enter)."

"A Blackie’s warrant is a civil search warrant that a judge or magistrate signs. It is named after a court case called Blackie’s House of Beef v. Castillo. In that case, the court said immigration officers can use civil warrants from judges to search worksites.
A Blackie’s warrant is different from a criminal warrant because law enforcement does not have to show “probable cause” that a crime happened to get a Blackie’s warrant. Instead, they have to show “probable cause” (or a reasonable belief) that someone at a particular worksite is not in the United States legally. The warrant still has to be specific about the place that they want to search."

Community plans strike, economic blackout to protest ICE operations in Minnesota

"Faith leaders, unions and community groups in Minnesota are planning a strike and economic blackout on Friday in response to the Trump administration’s Operation Metro Surge.
The movement, which started small, is gaining momentum as more organizations, unions and businesses join. However, participation levels for Friday remain uncertain.
Benched Press, a small business in South Minneapolis, plans to close Friday to show solidarity.
“We wanted to figure out a way to join in solidarity with other businesses and say what is happening is not right,” Jane Shannon, co-owner of Benched Press, said.
The strike is part of a larger effort by Minnesota unions, businesses and faith organizations to pause economic activity and send a message. They are promoting “no work, no school, no shopping” to de-escalate ICE activity in the area."

Minnesota faith, union, community leaders call for economic blackout on Jan. 23

By
Updated on: January 13, 2026 / 12:54 PM CST / CBS Minnesota

"Faith leaders, union representatives and community members are calling for a Day of Truth and Freedom on Friday, Jan. 23 — urging all Minnesotans not to go to work, school or go shopping in response to Operation Metro Surge.
Organizers held a news conference on Jan. 13 outside of the Hennepin County Government Center in downtown Minneapolis to announce the statewide day of mourning and action. It comes amid ongoing tensions over the federal law enforcement surge in Minnesota that escalated after ICE officer Jonathan Ross fatally shot 37-year-old Minneapolis resident Renee Good last week.
Auxiliary Minister JaNaé Bates Imari of St. Paul's Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church led the conference, calling for Minnesotans to "leverage our economic power, our labor, our prayer for one another."
"What we have seen and what we have witnessed, what we have all gone through is not normal," Bates Imari said. "[Renee Good was] standing up for her neighbor. Her whistle blowing was returned by bullets. We will not, we cannot let that stand. Minnesota will not continue to be a testing ground for the kind of fear and violence that is expected for the rest of this country."
Rodrigo Cardoza, owner of Mercado Central in Minneapolis, said Operation Metro Surge has devastated the local economy, particularly small businesses owned by members of the immigrant community."

"The Day of Truth and Freedom will also include a march and rally in downtown Minneapolis at 2 p.m."

GOP Rep. Ogles Blasts Anti-ICE ‘Libtards’: ‘This Is an 80-20 Issue’

Monday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) argued in favor of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who he said weredoing “the people’s work.”

Ogles rejected those protesting, calling them “librards” on the side of lawlessness.

“Congressman, you say we cannot let these rioters inspire other insurrections across the country,” FBN’s Cheryl Casone said. “But it seems that this might be the path ahead, and there are concerns that other blue cities, sanctuary cities, are going to erupt into the type of violence that we’ve been seeing happening in Minneapolis. Is there a way to de-escalate this?”

“You have, you know, when you look at ICE, when you look at the difficult job they’re doing, more importantly, you look at the individuals they’re detaining,” he continued. “So when you look at the criminal records of those that they’re detaining, both from their home country and here, roughly 70%, roughly 70% have some sort of criminal record. This is who’s being deported: murderers, rapists, drug traffickers, child traffickers. We need to get rid of those folks. Get them out of our society. And if the libtards are going to side with lawlessness, that’s on them, not on the rest of us because you know what? This is an 80-20 issue. America wants a better economy, safe streets, and part of that is President Trump’s deportation orders.”

When an outsider says a Pastor has a conflict of interest and needs to be removed, there is a serious problem.
That's for the Congregation, Elders, etc. to say. NOT OUTSIDERS. And not Congregants not using established procedures, especially disrespectful means in public, which besmirch the reputation and witness of the Church and its leaders/members.

In a statement released Monday, the St. Paul church said a “group of agitators jarringly disrupted our worship gathering,” alleging protesters accosted congregants, frightened children and created an atmosphere marked by intimidation and threat.
Civil rights attorney Nekima Levy Armstrong, who helped organize the protest, said demonstrators were seeking dialogue with church leadership about the impact of recent ICE operations in Minnesota.

"Federal officials discussed Homeland Security’s ongoing immigration enforcement operations in Minnesota on Tuesday and defended their agents’ actions.

Marcos Charles, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) executive associate director of enforcement and removal operations (ERO), and Border Patrol Commander at Large Greg Bovino both slammed Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for spreading “heated rhetoric.”
But Bovino also called people protesting ICE operations “anarchists.”
It comes amid high tensions and multiple lawsuits over the immigration enforcement surge and federal agents’ conduct.
Homeland Security has said roughly 3,000 people have arrested during “Operation Metro Surge” in Minnesota since it began early last month. However, details about those arrested have been scant."

Minneapolis' police chief fears possible "moment where it all explodes" as ICE operation continues

"By now, you have no doubt seen many of the scenes from Minneapolis: immigration agents demanding proof of citizenship -- even from some American citizens, protesters swarming as agents make arrests, the fatal shooting of Renee Good by an ICE officer.
This past week, we went to Minneapolis and spoke with two men at the center of the crisis: the chief of police and the head of ICE's deportation operation, both veteran law enforcement officers, with two very different views of what is unfolding.
Tonight, there are 3,000 ICE and Border Patrol agents in the Minneapolis area – that's nearly five times the number of police on the city's force, making it the largest ever deployment of federal immigration officers to an American city.

Off-duty Twin Cities officers among those "targeted" by ICE agents looking for proof of U.S. citizenship, chief says

By WCCO Staff
January 20, 2026 / 3:58 PM CST / CBS Minnesota

"Off-duty police officers in the Twin Cities have been "targeted" by federal agents looking for proof of U.S. citizenship, Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark Bruley said Tuesday.
Bruley was among several law enforcement leaders who expressed their concerns at a press conference that Operation Metro Surge is leading to "civil rights violations in our streets."
He added that in the last two weeks, as community members have been submitting "endless complaints," that several of the officers in his department had also been stopped by federal law enforcement.
"Every one of these individuals is a person of color," Bruley added.
He recounted a story that one of his officers had told him: she had been off duty when she passed Immigration and Customs Enforcement while going down the roadway. The agents "boxed her in" and "demanded her paperwork," Bruley said."
