Matthew 24:30-31
King James Version
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

This will take place at the end of the Great Tribulation when Jesus Christ returns to earth to reign for a thousand years.

and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

I love this because the travails will then be behind them for those that chose Christ and remained alive. They will no longer be in danger plus they get to live as mortals during the Millennial Kingdom, of which there will never have been a better time to live.

Can any of us imagine what it will be like to return with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords on horses to be there and witness this? And, can any of us imagine what it will be like for the people that get plucked by the angels from wherever they are on earth and brought to where the King is?
