IDF struck over 400 Hezbollah targets on Saturday

The IAF struck approximately 290 targets in Lebanon, including thousands of launcher barrels and additional terrorist infrastructure, under the direction of the IDF Intelligence Directorate, in various regions of southern Lebanon, they announced on Saturday afternoon.

The IDF also stated that in a subsequent series of strikes, they targeted around 110 Hezbollah positions, including launchers and terrorist infrastructure across multiple locations in southern Lebanon.

The IDF emphasized that they are "methodically targeting and degrading Hezbollah’s launching capabilities, eliminating commanders and terrorists, as we have done throughout the day."

10 rockets fired from Lebanon deep into northern Israel; most intercepted

Looks like Israel's strategy of taking out launchers and leadership is paying dividends.

This showed up in my YT suggested videos about 3 hours ago. I watched it- it was fascinating and the fellow whose website it is seems to have some experience by how he talks.

He has some very good videos of what's been going on in the past few hours. No video of people's bodies, just what appears to be munitions depots being precisely bombed and then going up in an impressive fashion.

One or two times a little bad language so if anyone wishes, they will still get most of what's going on without the audio but he explains exactly what to look for in each clip.

The physics aspect alone was great, one clip shows the shock wave of heated pressurized air going up against the night sky, and the ripple was obvious. Despite the impressive explosions he explained that Israel didn't use big bunker busters or MOAB types to do this, they were just pin point bombing the munitions depots and letting all that expensive rocketry go off in a big bang.

Iran's going to be upset- that is a lot of their money going up in smoke. And it won't harm a hair of an Israeli head going off like that.

Hezbollah leaders killed in Friday strike were meeting on Oct. 7-style Galilee invasion plans

A Hezbollah source tells the Al-Monitor news site that the senior Hezbollah leaders killed in an IDF strike on Friday were meeting to discuss plans to invade Israel in an October 7-style attack in response to the pager explosions.

President Isaac Herzog said much the same in a British TV interview earlier today.

The members of the elite Radwan Force were studying “plans for a ground invasion at the heart of the occupied territories,” the source tells Al-Monitor. (Hezbollah seeks to destroy Israel and sees all of its sovereign territory as “occupied.”)

I can just imagine the meeting... "it worked out so well for hamas that we should do it too".

IDF retaliates after Hezbollah's deepest attack yet: Over 150 rockets, six wounded

Hezbollah fired its deepest barrage into Israel since the beginning of the current war, with four rounds of over 150 rockets, cruise missiles, and drones fired into the Jezreel Valley in the early hours of Sunday morning, the IDF confirmed.

'They could not imagine': Netanyahu says Israel inflicted heavy blows on Hezbollah

Israel has inflicted a series of harsh blows on the Lebanese terror organization that the group previously "could not imagine," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized during his Sunday video address, adding that Israel would continue to take whatever action necessary to restore its security.

The video address came amid the escalating tensions between Israel and Hezbollah after Israel struck Beirut on Friday, killing Radwan Force chief Ibrahim Aqil. Hezbollah, in response, launched multiple rocket and drone attacks toward Israel throughout Sunday morning, to which Israel responded with airstrikes.

"In the last few days, we inflicted on Hezbollah a sequence of blows that they could not imagine. If Hezbollah did not understand the message, I promise you - it will understand the message," Netanyahu said.

Hezbollah launches around 85 missiles from Lebanon deep into Israel

Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Hezbollah on Sunday launched around 85 missiles from Lebanon into the Haifa area -- the deepest into Israel since the beginning of the war in October -- with three people injured.

Hezbollah, an Iran-backed terror group, claimed the rockets were in response to the pager and walkie-talkie blasts in Lebanon last week, which killed more than 30 members of the terror group and wounded thousands of others. The attack was attributed to Israel, which has not commented.

More than 60 Israeli airstrikes have been fired on southern Lebanon since dawn Sunday.

"If Hezbollah didn't get the message -- I assure you -- they will get the message," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said ahead of a government meeting Sunday, "We are determined to return our citizens in the north to their homes safely."

I can only imagine how many missiles hezbollah would be firing at Israel if so many of their launchers hadn't been recently destroyed.

Seemed like any Israel/Arab or neighbor terrorism or war was met in the past by very sober men and women understanding risks of ME escalation and many knowing the end times implications. Today we seem to have distractions, lack of love, and little to no belief. Not to mention a MSM that cares only about the talking points of the developing system of the beast. To me this is a grave situation that merits stern and serious outlook and retrospective in consideration. But a Bible literalist prophecy believer should feel that way. The USA is playing with fire in many ways and letting Israel sink into this whole mess alone is concerning. They will be left to their own sole protection until the King of Kings and Lord of Lords provides the protections that we read about with Psalms 83, Ezekiel 38/39, Daniel, Revelation, etc.

IDF says it launched over 300 strikes on ‘infrastructure Hezbollah built up for years’

The Israel Defense Forces on Monday morning said it launched “widespread” waves of airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, as it warned civilians to swiftly move away from homes used by the Iran-backed terror group to store weapons.

The military said it had identified Hezbollah operatives preparing to carry out rocket attacks on Israel. Later in the day, Hezbollah fired some 35 rockets at northern Israel.

Lebanon’s health ministry said at least 100 people were killed and more than 400 injured. The figures did not differentiate between members of the terror group and civilians.

IDF carries out largest attack on Hezbollah since 2006, causes mass evacuations in Lebanon
SEPTEMBER 23, 2024 23:30

The IDF battered Hezbollah with the largest attack since the Second Lebanon War (2006) on Monday. The attack was broken down roughly into four massive rounds of air strikes against rockets and other assets. The Iranian proxy group tried hard to fight back but had very limited success in relative terms.

The figures from Monday’s attacks, along with the days preceding, were staggering and also led to enormous waves of evacuations of Lebanese civilians from both southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley area.

The IDF struck over 1,300 targets in around 650 sorties; the Lebanese Health Ministry estimated well over 1,200 wounded and close to 350 dead.

Military sources refused to speculate on the ratio of operatives to civilians, though they clarified that the targets were all places where Hezbollah had rockets, drones, or missiles located, ready to fire on Israeli civilians. IDF chief spokesman R.-Adm. Daniel Hagari made a general statement, suggesting that many of those killed would be Hezbollah fighters readying to shoot at Israel.

It appears to me that Israel, having taken out some of the leadership and a great many launchers, have overwhelmed hezbollah which is keeping Hezbollah's aggression against the state of Israel to a minimum compared to what it might have been. Israel will likely invade by land at some point and raze everything in southern Lebanon and create a buffer zone, a no man's land, if you will, to help protect northern Israel.

It appears that Israel has learned a few things from their year in Gaza, and are being a little more aggressive in their targeting, thankfully. More civilian Lebanese may die, but fewer Israeli civilians will, and that's important that Israel protect its population over the population of its enemies.

LOL i get goosebumps when i hear statements like these

"In a joint message, US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron stressed the need for a resolution that would “ensure safety and security” that enables civilians to return home."

You mean like all the Jewish people from all over the world returning home to Israel?

U.S., EU and nine other nations call for 21-day cease-fire on Israel-Lebanon border
WASHINGTON — A day after President Joe Biden told the United Nations General Assembly that he did not want to see a “full-scale war” in the Middle East, the U.S. and a group of nine other nations plus the European Union called for a 21-day cease-fire across the Lebanon-Israel border.

"It is time to conclude a diplomatic settlement that enables civilians on both sides of the border to return to their homes in safety," they said in a joint statement on Wednesday night. "Diplomacy however cannot succeed amid an escalation of this conflict."

Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon have killed at least 72 people, according to a Reuters compilation of Lebanese health ministry statements. For almost a year, the Iran-backed militant group has intensified firing of rockets into northern Israel. Tensions on that border have increased since the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel that killed 1,200 people.

A U.S. official told reporters that the involved parties would need to agree to the temporary cease-fire but said that they were familiar with the text and would respond in coming hours. The U.S. said it had been speaking directly to the Lebanese government and inferred that its government would work to negotiate the terms of an agreement with Hezbollah.

A "cease-fire agreement" is of no value being made with "Lebanon " and not Hezbollah.
The conflict Israel has is with Hezbollah not with Lebanon.
Where is the pressure on Hezbollah from the UN and world leaders?
Pressure is always put on Israel when it's Israel's adversaries who are not willing to end their constant attacks on Israel.
Because the basis for the conflict on the side of Islam is a religious ideology and their Koran specifies the mandate to annihilate the nation of Israel and they see it as a "holy war", no agreement written by foreign leaders is going to bring the conflict to an end.
We can read Bible prophecy and see how this conflict ends, and because it is The Word of God it's going to happen just as The Lord has said it will happen.

I wonder if Israel has had to moderate their anti-missile defense use due to US holding back supplies from Israel. :pray2:

Hezbollah may have enough missiles to breach Israel's Iron Dome. But doing so could trigger its destruction

Sep 25, 2024

In recent weeks, Israel has inflicted a series of humiliating blows on the Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah, reportedly planting explosives in its pagers, killing its top leaders, and raining missiles on its bases.

But at any moment, Hezbollah could strike back with a massive missile and drone swarm attack that could devastate Israeli forces and rapidly escalate the conflict, analysts say.

But at any moment, Hezbollah could strike back with a massive missile and drone swarm attack that could devastate Israeli forces and rapidly escalate the conflict, analysts say.
The Iran-backed group likely has stockpiles of up to 200,000 missiles, a report from March by the Center for Strategic and International Studies said.

That may be enough to overwhelm Israel's Iron Dome air-defense system and inflict huge damage on the country's cities and infrastructure, experts say.

When we look at Israel's History with God not forsaking Israel in times of war, it's a confident assurance that God will not forsake His people Israel contending with Hezbollah and any of Iran's Proxies, and any adversary aiming to bring harm to Israel.

A couple of examples of modern day miracles that could only come from God by Divine Intervention that brought victory to Israel when contending with adversaries.
