House Oversight Committee Votes To Subpoena Ghislaine Maxwell For Deposition

TCC

Well-known

The House Oversight Committee unanimously approved a subpoena for the convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell in a surprise move Tuesday morning.

The powerful committee will seek to subpoena the longtime Jeffrey Epstein associate for a deposition following Republican Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett introducing a motion that was approved by voice vote. The move follows Attorney General Pam Bondi announcing she requested a meeting with Maxwell on Tuesday to press her for additional information related to the deceased sex predator.

It will be interesting to see what info she can provide that is not already in the court documents.

I still believe anyone expecting a “gotcha” moment will be very disappointed.
You probably mean that both ways. Trump and/or the deep staters. I have no idea if what she says will do anything. Whatever the effect, I don't think Trump has a thing to worry about. From the overview of him historically, Little Saint James would not be part of his character, from what I can tell. Blessings.

I am sure they had dirt on everyone including Trump.

If they had any dirt at all on Trump, I'm fairly certain they would have used it by now. Trump's efforts to completely avoid the vices have probably helped him to stay out of trouble throughout his life. I wonder if that's something his dad tried to teach him or if he made those choices completely on his own. I curious about influence on him in the regard.

THAT stands out like a sore thumb.

Think of Russia gate. They had to manufacture evidence. They would have used anything from Epstein if they had it.

The "files" have a long and large chain of custody. At any point stuff could have been added or redacted by one of MANY people handling the files before they landed on Pam Bondi's desk.

But nothing- crickets.

Which says IF anything on Trump suddenly magically appears, it is pretty suspicious, and NOT something that Trump was actually guilty of.

If Epstein made his money by blackmail as has long been alleged there should be a client list as long as ones arm, but nothing.

The idea that Epstein might have had a side gig working for the CIA/FBI might be true- and the same people who manufactured evidence in the Trump Russia gate conspiracy might have been nervous enough to make that list disappear completely.

Or there may actually be US security concerns related to letting that list out in public.

The lack of that list is suspicious.

But if Pam Bondi and the President are covering it up or misdirecting attention- they may have good reasons they can't share.

Pam engaged in a long and involved chat about Epstein's pedophile past and evidence on her desk about that the other day on Fox news with Fox news reporter Peter Doocy while completely ignoring Peter's repeated questions about Epsteins CLIENTS not his particular sex history. That misdirection leads me to think they are covering up but I don't think it's due to misconduct on Trump's part simply because if that was there, it would be used already.

What would Trump and Bondi misdirect for?
#1 answer in my mind would be national security
#2 possibility is that someone close to Trump in some way is on the list and the administration would prefer not to make that public for whatever reasons- personal or political.

There's the possible issue of people's names showing up on documents who are innocent of any wrongdoing. I suspect a lot of people that went out to that island never participated in anything nefarious or were knowledgeable of the nefarious activities that apparently went on there. But just a name on one of the documents would tarnish that person forever, so there's that to consider. Once Trump's people started studying the documents they must have realized that it wasn't going to be as simple as releasing everything they had to the public. But, they made too many promises before they realized that, if that's the case.

Amen Margery. I like your thinking. I might add: Epstein (due to the nature and implications of it) would serve best as icing on the cake, rather than the cake. So if we can demonstrate bad actors with political treason and then on top of that pour Epstein gravy on it, that will be an impossible box to deny.

The other thing i am thinking is that its just not the right time. While many Americans want to see justice and arrests etc., we are not exactly in Kansas anymore. We have seen what the court systems look like and how far they are willing to go to keep illegals in the country and override Trump at every turn. This is a random sample of the state of the nations. If we play the Epstein card now, how many courts in power will jam up that system. Or hand out light sentences? The judiciary is still rife with corruption. To release Epstein files now, would be to give up a huge playing card to be used at a rather impotent time. Better, we stall with the list, and work on unclogging the judiciary arteries. I wonder how many judges went to St. James Island.

One last thing too...we have no idea what the risk factor looks like. It could be that some deep state players would use a dirty nuke, or unleash a real virus. Or perform simultaneous school shootings, bomb a huge building, etc. If you know by going after certain people will be more likely to bring disaster, it does not serve the public to bring on the Epstein files now. But due diligence would be to use the Epstein saga to bait, twist, confuse and cripple arenas associated to the worst of bad players prior to realizing info for hungry public consumption. If that makes sense? Blessings.

Trump Derangement Syndrome seems to have been replaced by EDS - Epstein Derangement Syndrome.

The courts will likely release the information, leading to a big nothing burger.

Latest from Epoch Times (as of 5 minutes ago) the judge over the grand jury trial is refusing to release records. lol. I laugh because i think this is great. I don't recall a time in history everything was so all over our laps. The whole political infrastructure on tap, with up to the minute press while info drops from moment to moment. What a time to witness such movement. 🍿

Brother, perhaps what you’re seeing is a mirage…..

While at JDF for 4 years, they would have agreed with you. Yet a year after JDF closed, we are here. With these cluster stories in the news. From 8 years ago. Sure the whole ideology I am looking at this through could be a grand mirage. I was willing to accept that 4 years ago. As i am today brother. But it just does not seem to want to go away now, after 8 years, does it? lol. I ask for it to stop stalking me. But it seems to try follow me a bit. But I understand the sentiment. I tell myself that 3 to 4 times a day. Everyday...now for 8 years. As i yawn...lol...and grow weary...in some ways at this point maybe it does not matter in my perspective as it did in its honeymoon phase. But the soap opera just keeps on ticking. Guess will see. If it all ends in a whimper...it will be a bit depressing. But in finale, a relief as well. Blessings.
