Hamas said to kill over 30 Gazans, publicly execute 7, as it reasserts its grip on Strip

Hamas gunmen tightened their grip in Gaza on Monday and Tuesday, sources in the Strip said, including carrying out public executions.

Hamas has killed at least 33 people since a ceasefire took effect on Friday in a crackdown on groups that have tested its grip, sources in the strip said, having apparently got a US nod to temporarily police the shattered enclave.

In a stark assertion of the group’s return, fighters executed several men they accused of collaborating with Israeli forces. In one video circulated late on Monday, Hamas fighters dragged seven men into a circle of people in Gaza City, forced them to their knees and shot them from behind. A Hamas source confirmed the authenticity of the video.

I wish that the negotiators (Witkoff and Kushner) would have lost some skin in this stupid game.

It always lands on Israeli blood shed to "prove" to the idiots in the West that Hamas can't be trusted!!!! Ya THINK???

So once again Kushner and Witkoff get to walk away leaving Israel to pick up the tab.

And then of course Qatar- that "ally" of the west, who is profiting nicely from their failed attempts to help broker the deal. What do they pay???? Now that Trump and the USA have promised to come to their aid if Israel ever tries to kill terrorists on their soil again.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) is threatening Hamas to stop murdering Gazans and immediately disarm.

An important statement when it comes from the US military leadership: the US military will not enter Gaza to dismantle Hamas, but the message is that another army will.

Let me just add this to @Margery excellent post above. The way Trump et al have gone about claiming victory and credit for hostage release is bad for Netanyahu. When the initial euphoria of the hostage release wears off it would not suprise me for the Israeli opposition to ramp up their goal of ousting Netanyahu. It will be very easy to blame the PM for not getting the hostages out himself. I am happy the living hostages have been returned but I can see where this can be bad for the current Israeli government now and next year when they are in their next election cycle.
