We'll be involved in a candle light prayer vigil tonight at a local park. Our church and three other churches will be hosting it. There will be an altar call at the end. I'll be one of the alter workers. Please keep us in prayer for safety and open hearts. Who knows what kind of crazies this will draw.

Members of Crowd Stand Up to Accept Jesus as Their Savior at Charlie Kirk Memorial

Members of the crowd at Charlie Kirk’s memorial can be seen standing up as a show that they are accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior — an incredible moment that occurred during remarks from his pastor, Rob McCoy.

“You see, the wages of sin is death. Charlie knew this, and at an early age, he entrusted his life to the Savior of the world. Jesus came to this earth, was tempted in all ways, yet was without sin,” McCoy said, telling the crowd Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, that Jesus poured out his blood for us for the remission of sins and is available to all who receive Jesus as their Savior.

“While believers are seated, if there’s any in this room and across the globe that would desire to receive Jesus as their Savior — as Charlie did as a young man, and now is in the presence of his Savior — I’m going to ask you to put action to your faith,” he encouraged. “And I’d ask you to stand right now to receive the Lord. Don’t be ashamed. Stand.”

Video shows many people in the auditorium taking a stand, accepting Jesus as their Savior as the crowd roared with applause.

My Lord, Rubio did a Billy Graham, John MacArthur, etc... a clear Gospel Message!!! From our secretary of state??? God bless this cabinet!

Hang on Friends.... tomorrow is going to be different. God is moving...

I never thought I would see such testimony from my government... they have the full armor of God on.

It was a good memorial for Charlie, and the gospel has been told. I:pray:many are saved because of the truth being told. I heard J.D.Vance say we are all Gods children. The truth is we are his creation, but not until a person is saved are they a child of God. I wonder if his wife will be saved. She is Hindu, and he is Catholic.

I am curious what Trump is going to say. I pray he gets saved too and no longer thinks he can 'earn' heaven.
I was only able to start watching about the time JD Vance started speaking so I'll catch up with clips later.
I personally would have liked the memorial to have ended with Erika Kirk speaking but I understand the importance of not upstaging the POTUS. He spoke better when he stayed on script and said many good things but he rambled on about unnecessary political points IMO.

Now I found Erika Kirk to be exceptional in the way she was able to speak and carry herself in the midst of such grief.
Whether you agree with her, or Charlie for that matter, regarding their theology or world view, if you watched enough of his videos you would see he always pointed to Christ when given the opportunity.
Erika gave a wonderful testimony of Christ before that crowd and all the watching world. She also gave great advice to Christian husbands, wives, and pastors, imo.

And to stand there before the watching world and forgive the one who took Charlies life is a great example for all and was something incredible to watch. I have no doubt the Holy Spirit is giving her the strength and courage she needs to speak in such a way and offer that forgiveness.

We had a good turnout for the vigil. I would estimate 500 to 600 people. The altar call at the end drew about 25 to 30 people. I prayed with a guy who was returning to the faith and a woman who's father had cancer. What a privilege it is to pray for people like that. It energized my faith, I was blessed as well. There was a small police presence for security but no issues. All was quiet, praise God.

Lord, may Your Holy Spirit move amongst the people and bring conviction of sin, righteousness and judgment. May many come to faith on Jesus and the sacrifice He made for all who would believe. Build Your Church, Lord, before You call it out of this sin sick, fallen world. To God the Father be the Glory!

Erika says she won't push for the death sentence of Charlie's killer. She doesn't want that man's blood on her ledger. That might be the only thing that stops me from going to heaven and being with Charlie, and I would never want that. Her last statement makes it sound like she thinks if she would push for his death sentence she would lose her salvation.

I was sad to read that this AM. Wonder how many just still don’t grasp that it’s not about us, but what Jesus did.

If he is found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt then he needs to be put to death.
Compassionate Christianity is not always wise, imo

This whole thing is starting to resemble the first Trump assassination attempt where it was obvious the public was never given the complete story. New article about the FBI investigating all theories seems like damage control to me. I'm sorry, but I don't believe anything the FBI says anymore. I don't think that even President Trump can root out the evil that has infiltrated the highest levels of the FBI and CIA. Again, just me, but I think the CIA is the brains and the FBI are the useful idiots doing what there masters tell them to do. This statement; “Regarding specific details, such as questions about the plane that allegedly turned off its transponder after departing from an airport near the assassination site, we can share updates when answers are confirmed,” Patel said. “After interviews with the pilot and consultation with the FAA, we determined the transponder was not turned off. Incomplete flight data in rural areas caused the apparent gap.” sounds just like the missing Epstein prison cell video that was somehow magically turned off at the time of his death.

There was video of the shooter on the roof before the shooting, just like the Trump attempt, yet no one raised the alarm. No one went to investigate? Highly trained security folks weren't watching rooftops before and during Charlie's speech? I tried to take a break from all this mess, but you just can't get away without becoming a hermit.
