Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University.

Charlie Kirk, the CEO and co-founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, was shot Wednesday at an event at Utah Valley University, Turning Point said.

“We are confirming that he was shot and we are praying for Charlie,” said Aubrey Laitsch, public relations manager for Turning Point USA.

Kirk is seen speaking into a handheld microphone while sitting under a white tent emblazoned with the slogans “The American Comeback” and “Prove Me Wrong.”

A single shot rings out and Kirk can be seen reaching up with his right hand as a large volume of blood gushes from the left side of his neck. Stunned spectators are heard gasping and screaming before people start to run away. The AP was able to confirm the videos were taken at Sorensen Center courtyard on the Utah Valley University campus, where Kirk was scheduled to speak on Wednesday.

Just saw that. It's unbelievable people are so triggered by someone informing them that they are wrong on issues. I've seem probably 50 clips of Charlie humiliating students at debates across the country. I should say the students humiliated themselves because Charlie just calmly corrects their incorrect thoughts and theories. Rational debate has ceased to exist today. Most of the debate Charlie has are about the trans movement or communism, both of which are detrimental to society.

The left cannot debate on facts so they have to kill the messenger as they tried to today. As a nation we have to be able to discuss the facts without coming to blows. How can we possible live together if almost half the country believes lies?

Well actually we can't really live well together because of the growing evil in this world and we know it will continue to get worse as the Bible tells us. Come Lord Jesus!
 

Charlie Kirk in critical condition following assassination attempt​

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is alive but in critical condition, multiple sources told Blaze News.

Kirk was shot in the neck at Utah Valley University on Wednesday after which he was promptly airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries. Several videos show profuse amounts of bleeding from his neck immediately following the shooting.

At the time of this writing, multiple sources told Blaze News that Kirk is alive and has a pulse but is in critical condition.

A suspect was detained moments after the shooting, with one bystander telling Eva Terry of Deseret News that the alleged shooter appeared to be wearing a worker's uniform, according to an interview obtained by Blaze News.
