Book by Joel Richardson, “The Islamic Antichrist”

Bethlehem57

More like Him daily until faith is sight
Joel Richardson wrote this book back in 2006 and DH has been reading it, and came across some pretty interesting points about Islam.

Their faith is as “monotheistic” as it gets, and their beliefs, at the core of any sect, believes:

1. Islam denies the Cross “With tears in his eyes, Paul the Apostle warned the Thessalonians that, ‘many live as enemies of the cross of Christ" (Philippians 3: 18).’”

- It should not come as a surprise, then, that Islam also denies the most
central event of all of redemptive history: the crucifixion of Jesus.

*** This points to the all out lies of their book, which wasn’t written until

700 years after Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection!! [emphasis
mine].

Speaking to the Jews of Jesus' day, the Qur'an says: That they said [in boast], "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah"; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no [certain] knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not: Nay, Allah raised him up unto himself; and Allah is exalted in power, wise. (Sura 4: 157-8; Yusuf Ali) [they truly believe this - emphasis mine]

2. Islam and our Savior, Jesus Christ
[T]he Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth;
[in this] they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah s curse
be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (Sura 9:30; Yusuf Ali).

3. Islam and the Trinity
ISLAM DENIES THE TRINITY Islam applies the same claim of blasphemy to
those who believe in' the Trinity: They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of
three in a Trinity: for
there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word [ of b],
verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them. (Sura 5:73;
Yusuf Ali)

According to their “holy book belief in the Trinity is also defined as blasphemy. [emphasis mine].

I can't recall all the ins and outs of it, but this Islamic Antichrist theory by Joel R and also by Walid Shoebat has big holes in it, and both authors have problematic theology. I'm drawing blanks in my memory as to the exact reasons why this book and Walid's are not good, just a strong recollection that they aren't. I'll try to get more info soon, but meanwhile if anyone else recalls what all the problems were please write in here.

here we are: https://www.pre-trib.org/pretribfiles/pdfs/Reagan-AnEvaluationOfTheMuslimAntichristTheory.pdf

This is a pdf file document by Dr David Reagan (very good theologian) presented to the Pre Trib Study group (members include Dr Andy Woods, the founder Dr Thomas Ice and others)

It debunks the claims and explains why these theories don't hold water.

Top of page 13 Dr Reagan gets into the problems that Joel has with the timing of the Rapture. He equates the Rapture at the end of the Trib, merging it with the second coming, and therefore Joel believes the church goes thru the Tribulation. A very serious issue that is part of the foundations of his book.

Here is the conclusion on Page 18:

"Concluding Thoughts
Overall, I think what Richardson and Shoebat are presenting as a possible end time scenario
of events is a hodgepodge of ideas drawn from Bible prophecy, Islamic prophecy, and their own rich
imaginations. What they present is not true to either Bible prophecy or Islamic prophecy.

Two final observations.

First, beware of Lone Ranger interpretations of prophecy that are not
widely shared. God does not reveal the meaning of prophecy only to a person or two. 2 Peter 1:20
says, “no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation.” Private and peculiar
interpretations like the recent “Pre-Wrath Rapture,” usually make a big initial splash and then fade
quickly when submitted to critical review.

Second, I think the current rush to identify the Antichrist as a Muslim is a classic example of
newspaper exegesis — of reading the news headlines into the Bible rather than letting the Bible
speak for itself.

It would be good to keep in mind a comment made by the great Bible teacher Ray
Stedman: “What determines the future is what God has done in the past and what He has promised
to do in the future. So don’t look horizontally at current events.”"

I was just blown away by his explanation of Islam vs. Christianity and how you can’t really compare what we believe with what the believers of this false “religion” that Islam, believe! I believe that It’s a stretch to call it a religion IMHO, because of their outright hatred of us,(Christians), along with the Jews and Israel.

So far it’s my understanding that when Muslims take over a country, they establish Sharia Law which enables them to have citizens of that country either converts to Islam or lose their head. Jewish citizens won’t get a choice, they are annihilated, and despite lies that they’re telling the LGBTQ crowd here, now, if they conquer, those people are beheaded, not tolerated.

Islam’s outright hatred and what the US and Israel are now going through “US - Epic Fury, and Israel’s - Roaring Lion,” and thanks to Barry and Joe with their open borders, the Muslims who are in the USA illegally or overstayed visas/visits to relatives that have worn out their welcome here, the CITIZENS of the US are being assaulted within. The news throughout the last few weeks have reported various attacks taking lives and injuring others. The “sleeper cells” that these Democrats allowed to move here, are taking action because of our need to keep Islam extremists from having nuclear weapons.

And while I’m not worried about what and where they may attempt to keep killing and attacking in the US, I am flabbergasted at the number of people who are “hoodwinked” into the lies Muslims who call this “religion!” It doesn’t really matter if they’re Shi’ite or Sunni, they believe that chaos and destruction needs to keep happening to bring on their Mahdi.

Check out Daymond Duck’s post today,:

This week’s his update has a lot to say about what Iran’s leaders (they seem to have more mullah’s that you can shake a stick at).

Most important I wasn't trying to make it sound like Richardson had a fool-proof take on Islam and their version of the Antichrist at all.

Sorry for the confusion.
